I'll take that bet as well, what's the odds? Heck. I'll give you the odds, but you guys aren't going anywhere...catch me in the Terminal since I'm to scared to fly with JC anymore. Where is he anyway???

JC is still up in LGA. Spoke to him yesterday, he's having all sorts of fun flying up there (note dripping sarcasm).

I'll be through CLT tomorrow. I'll try to track you down.

They moved my office...Up in "No Man's Land" outside security but we still frequent the Crew Room...Look for me there.

And If I don't catch you tomorrow, tell JC I said "WHAT's UP" if you talk to him...

Is the Air Whisky pilot the group truly the only ones left with balls and a sense of self-respect? This is just sad.

I think you can put the TSA pilots in that group. We arent going to fail over here at AWAC. Look at all the Monkeys flying right now. Our owners are gonna want a piece of that action, and they will realize that the pilots here wont accept a growth for lower pay proposal. We wont even vote on it. With that, they will get additional flying at a slightly smaller profit. But it will be a profit. And a large one. I will be happy to sit in a 50 seat RJ while the gravy train passes our fat owners up. This is an easy BLUFF to call. If im wrong and we lose all this expansion and upgrades and etc.., to someone else.. Oh well. I dont really care to fly larger airplanes for the same pay. Its all the same in the cockpit.

PDT can suck a fat one. you guys did all you could to sell us out and now you blame us for getting the jets. How do you even have an opinion in this? It has no bearing on you at all.

Everyone has an opinion because someone bought it over here instead of leaving it on "the local!" Now everyone's getting in on the action.

Wait.... what? WE negotiated getting jets while you still had J-Balls running around. YOU sold out, not us. What the heck version of printed history are you smoking? Not opinions, options, or best-guesses, but PRINTED FACT [ [let's compare our contract pay rates for jets]? That's some gooooooooood rolling papers, becuase the sticky you're rolling in it is way strong too. It's called Sell Out Fast, and wayyyy crunk dope.

Dude, you suck. I thought you were simply in the mix and delusional from the whipsaw- I was wrong. You're too stupid to know what's what, or your conscience is starting to itch.

I'm disappointed, mamba. See you at the whipsaw. You've taken the bait, and we're still a LOT cheaper to run than you---- yet we make more money as pilots.

Mamba, You either weren't around when all this went down or you have taken revisionist history to new hieghts.

Do you remember how the three WO MEC's were going to hold the line together? Heck, we even printed flight bag stickers!

PDT and ALG stayed strong and agreed to essentially equivalent rates. As a matter of fact, PDT was THE FIRST WO to reach an agreement. If you were here at the time, you will remember that U group management said that the first airline to reach an agreement would get the jets.

PSA's MEC then came in with a lowball offer. The rest is history. Not "revised and updated" history, but what ACTUALLY happend.

Hello jetfo,
Well said. You give me hope for the pilot group at large. Too many are guided by anger and ignorance. I can't believe the amount of misinformation that can be poured out and then absorbed by the masses. Some pilots here would make very good communists. But I salute you and your view. Must be nice to sit in a cockpit with you on a long leg.

Some pilots here would make very good communists.

Do you even know what a communist is?

EXJET,
yes I know exactly what a communist is. He relies on the state or others for leadership and wealth. A communist preys and survives on others ignorance. That you would ask speaks volumes. Shake someone elses tree, this pilot is well lands on good ground.

Well now that you explained Walmart, how does it pertains to us? Capitalism can be very evil as well, Airlines are doing a good job of exploiting its labor groups. The groups that have benefited from this are the upper management and the consumers. It's time that some of the wealth is shared.
On a side note did you know that Marxist said that the purest form of communism would come in the form of Capitalism. Each day with this OIL motivated government we are closer and closer to it. I can just imagine who you voted for.....Talk about the ignorance of others!

I have to agree with you, what happened sucked. Why do you think that PSA MEC is not in office anymore. Since then the Negotiating Committee was changed also. I'm not at PSA anymore so I don't really care, but I hate to see such animosity between the pilot groups, all the ALPA groups should be working together - the current situation is miserable.
Remember, when you are spouting off at the PSA pilots, most of the guys there now were not around at the time. Many are furloughed US air guys and lots of the FO's have been hired since that time. They are just guys like yourself who went to work for the first regional that came along to get them out of flight instructing for some miserable flight school.

JetFO,

Just remember one thing...........No matter how hard you try, you will never be as fuel efficient as we are.
Yeah but at least we don't break a sweat when we work and we fly above the clouds. :)

Well we sweat a little.

Well there are a few exceptions Weasil. :)

Thanks for agreeing. I am not "spouting off" at anybody... Being hired after that whole foolishness went down is no reason to be ignorant of the truth, especially when a probably junior FO tells Piedmont pilots to "suck a fat one."
Those pretty jets were earned by following the age old airline pilot mantra of "I've got mine, F*ck you."

As it turns out, the biggest mistake made was probably trying to get all three WO's to stand united on a single issue. Those RJ's were just too darn attractive. We got fooled by management into fighting each other, and I think we all pretty much lost when it comes down to it.

yeah, there's also the dudes who came from gulfstream trading in their captain's job in a 1900 for a shiny new jet and a quick upgrade... hehe. ;-)

Nice work on the pay rate comparisons. No argument that our CAPTAINS will be paid in line with or better than other carriers. How about the same pay comparisons for our FOs?? That is half of the pilot group. Right???

F/O's don't count.....Remember the last pay raise?

Actually according to the last seniority breakdown. There's 245 Ca's 239 F/Os. Not sure how many f/o's are not able to vote though. So a little less than 50%. But 20 900's, would equate to approx. 48% of the f/o's upgrading in 14months time, (if no j4j's come) and in 28 months all but the bottom 39 f/o's would be upgraded, if 40 came.

And what if US Air or PSA decides to get rid of the 200's? Then we voted yes for nothing. We must have a guarentee that the fleet will grow not shrink or there will be no upgrades at all.

If PSA turns down 900's at blended pay, PDT pilots will jump on it. PSA underbid PDT on CRJ's, and look who's flying the RJ's
