For those of you that were interested, here is LOA 7 which contains some work rule changes and 70 seat RJ rates.

They're letting us vote this time so lets here some opinions (keep it nice). I personally am planing on voting no at this point, but I still have yet to go to the, soon to be announced, road shows.

PSA AIRLINES, INC.
and
THE AIR LINE PILOTS
in the service of
PSA AIRLINES, INC.
as represented by
THE AIR LINE PILOTS ASSOCIATION

This Letter of Agreement is made and entered into in accordance with the provisions of Title II of the Railway Labor Act, as amended, by and between PSA Airlines, Inc. (the “Company”) and the pilots in the service of PSA Airlines, Inc. as represented by the Air Line Pilots Association, International (the “Association”).

WHEREAS the Company currently operates small jet aircraft; and

WHEREAS the Company and ALPA wish to facilitate additional operation of small jet aircraft by the Company; and

WHEREAS, the parties wish to establish rates of pay for the CRJ 700’s and other relevant modifications to the basic collective bargaining agreement; and

NOW, THEREFORE, the Company and the Association agree as follows:

1. Section 3, Compensation is hereby amended:

3.B.4 All pilots will be paid at a blended rate, based on the proportion of CRJ-200 and CRJ-701 aircraft in the fleet. The rate will be reset quarterly based on the average aircraft months associated with previously delivered aircraft and projected deliveries or retirements of aircraft for each calendar quarter. The effective date of the reset rate will be the first day of the first pay period of the first calendar month of the calendar quarter.

For example, if one CRJ-701 aircraft is projected to be delivered in each month of the next calendar quarter, the rate would be adjusted at the beginning of the quarter to include the equivalent impact of two CRJ-701 aircraft for the entire quarter, producing the same economic result as having the rate adjusted to include the impact of one additional aircraft in each of the three months of the calendar quarter.

2. Section 12.C. is hereby amended as follows:
a. 12.C.1 Pilots will report for duty forty-five (45) minutes prior to scheduled departure. When sections are scheduled to begin with a deadhead leg, report time may be reduced to thirty (30) minutes by the Company. Pilots on the CRJ will report for duty sixty (60) minutes prior to scheduled departure for Early Morning Originators (EMOs).

b. 12.C.2 If aircraft taxi is scheduled to occur prior to the first block?out of a section, the report time for such a section will be sixty (60) minutes prior to the scheduled block?out time of the first flight of such section. If aircraft taxi is scheduled prior to the block-out of a CRJ section with an Early Morning Originator (EMO) , the report time for such section will be seventy-five (75) minutes prior to the block-out time of the first flight of such section.

c. 12.C.5. Pilots on reserve will report not later than one (1) hour after being contacted, except for PIT, PHL, CLT, and DAY where the report time will be one (1) hour and thirty (30) minutes. Pilots will make every effort to report earlier if needed. At the request of either party, the parties will meet to discuss appropriate report times for a new domicile.


d. 12.D.3 Reserve schedules when published for bid will have two (2) inviolate days assigned by crew scheduling. Inviolate days must remain as days off, and do not have to be consecutive. The pilot may, with mutual consent of a Crew Scheduling, move these days. Pilots cannot be Junior Manned on an inviolate day. A pilot may waive this provision.

3. Section 25 is amended as follows:

a. 25.A.7.b.1. The Company may place reserve days on any build-up line.

b. 25.A.7.b.2. For determining the number of days off in a build-up schedule, reserve days will have a value of 3.6 hours.

c. 25.A.7.b.3. The Company may not place more reserve days on a build-up schedule than needed to bring the line value to 72 hours. In no case may the Company add more than 10 days of reserve to a build-up schedule. The limits in 12.D.1 apply.
Example: A line has a value of 71:59 of sections/trips one (1) day of reserve may be added to bring the new line value to 75:35.

d. 25.B.6 Pilots scheduled for training, training schedules, and bidding preference including dates and location. Pilots will bid training schedules and training slot preference two (2) months prior to their scheduled training event. The training slot preference when available (normally 30 days prior) will be awarded on a preference choice and seniority bases. Example: Pilots scheduled for training in March will bid for their training schedule and training slot preference in January.

e. 25.D.1 The monthly bid package will be distributed to the Pilots not later than 1200 local time on the 10th of the month. Bidding will close at 1700 local time on the 15th of the month. The blended award for line holders and the bid for build-up and reserve lines will be distributed not later than 1700 local time on the 18th of the month. The bid for build-up and reserve lines will close at 1700 local time on the 21st of the month and be awarded by 1200 local time on the 24th of the month. Deviations will be allowed for Airline schedule changes, computer malfunctions, and resulting construction of revised Pilot schedules; however, no later than the times in the current agreement section 25.D.1.Based on Electronic Bidding Implementation date to be determined.

f. 25.G.3.e. Based on Company staffing requirements a pilot on reserve will be assigned the earliest reserve window on his last day of reserve, and in no case be released later than 1700 on his last day if not being used.

g. 25.G.3.f. A pilot may waive 25.G.3.e. above.

h. 25.G.4.a. A pilot on reserve will not be assigned an open time trip earlier than twenty?four (24) hours before the report time for that trip, but will be tentatively notified of that trip no later than sixteen (16) hours before report time. Any trip assigned will remain tentative until the Company makes it a final assignment. Once a trip becomes a final assignment, then Section 25.G.4.b. applies.

i. 25.G.4.c.4. Ready reserve will not exceed three (3) consecutive days. Ready reserve crews will not be utilized for an assignment that is more than reserve call plus report time in the future, except if that is the only crew.

j. Example: Domicile x has a one (1) hour and thirty (30) minute call out for reserve. Report time in Domicile x is forty five (45) minutes. Ready reserve will only be used for a call out less than two (2) hours and fifteen (15) minutes, unless they are the only reserve crew in that domicile.

4. Except as provided herein, the basic collective bargaining agreement, and side letters shall apply and govern the terms and conditions of employment of the pilots described herein.[QUOTE/]

I am willing to wager that when all is said and done, at the end of the month/year, then you make SIGNIFICANTLY less than PSA. Find someone with the same seat/longevity and compare W2s before you open your trap....

Yeager pull your head out of your arse and check the numbers. We are only deficient to MESA in the 2-3 year FO on the CRJ-200.

Also, as SmackYour Pappy corectly stated when the paychecks arrive we make more than MESA.

i hope you guys can see these rates are pretty bad. there really is no excuse for this one, since you all get to vote and not the infamous MEC vote. if you guys do vote for this, then it really sends a message that your willing to fly for anything just to get larger airplanes. just my opinion, but do what you guys want, it your company.

Exactly.

The rates are not the lowest (MESA still is), and our company is still facing liquidation. Unfortunately I don't think now is the time to make a stand for industry leading rates. Yeah they suck, but they are still better than MESA :D .

The 70 rates are the exact same as Eagle for their CRJ-700. The Eagle rates is what Mid Atlantic is using for the EMB-170.

Higher rates then Mid Atlantic? Doughtful

That might be correct.

Just curious, what is PSA's monthly guarantee? ( Mesa has a 75.83 hrs monthly guarantee )
