Part of the IBB package coming out for vote this fall.

wow...i thought it would take a lot longer than that for it to get leaked out....

better get those apps in boys!!!!

I feel bad for the people who already quit though.

You can live anywhere. Just have to be able to report by your show time. That time is given to you by 1900 the night before.

It's a proposal that the company and union have been working on. The complete language isn't worked out yet and then it will be a membership vote. The complete proposal is set to come out in early Oct. The proposal involves quite a few other areas of the contract, too.

Hopefully the company understands that opening up the number of domiciles will likely lead to both a higher retention of pilots as well as more highly qualified pilot applicants. That seems pretty intuitive because not everyone can afford LAX, TEB and PBI for domiciles if they want to live in the area (yes, I know CMH and DFW are cheaper). The fact that Citationshares and Avantair offer 20+ domiciles each shows that it can be done. Again, management wants to keep this as a bargaining chip but both sides would benefit big time if domiciles were expanded considerably....

It's going to take some BLING to get this baby to pass. No final product is out yet. This is just a first peak of what is coming. Cash is king to buy any vote.

Nothing from me.....my HBA stay the same and my 7&7 stays the same.....so I dont really even need to vote on this.....

nice.:smash:

I'm not getting a warm and fuzzy feeling from what I've seen so far. The scheduling has me the most concerned. Its either 7 & 7 or bend over and trust CS to take care of you. I'll wait for the final product before I pass judgment though.

H days gone, so we are going to have to "trust" CS's dept??????
Better bring the $$$$$ withthe final package.

Yep I agree

No changes for me, but its gonna be a "hard sell" for alot of people.

I'm not real impressed by the new schedules or the change from sick days to personal days off.

Union reps are doing a great job, thanks for that.

They haven't talked money yet, and the company can open all those bases without a vote? So whay all the negotiatin?

Lots of questions...

More money would be great!! But still pullin for the ROC as a base! It would save me a couple hundred $$ driven to TEB. And the 5 hr. drive reduced to a 10 minute drive would be awesome too!

Nice way to look out for the new guys that would greatly appreciate more domicile options. I know there will be more to vote on than just domiciles but if that's the way most people feel then I doubt anything would pass.

It's true that Netjets management should change the domicile situation anyways if they want to continually attract better and better pilots (and reduce attrition). It is clearly a bargaining chip.

Hmm????

RP 170

It is looking out for the new guys in the long run. We want everybody to have HBA's. Company can do that at the drop of a hat.

The people who have been here for years are in a better position to judge then the newhires. It may seem they are being "left behind", but nothing could be further then the truth.

Johnsonrod;

They are trying to use more bases as a bargaining chip. They need the change to get more pilots. They can do that at any time. Why are they even asking us? They are trying to gain ground by exchanging for something they need more then we do.

There has been no mention of increased wages at this point. I'm sure that is where the ca ca will really hit the fan.

Wow... that would be nice for you and perhaps nice for Flex. Perhaps we will follow. I love it when you guys do all the work for us and we just tag along.

nice work!!!

I understand that fact. The fact that people are going to say "I'm not voting" doesn't seem to display much unity. I respect the decision for someone to vote "no" or "yes" but why would you not vote?

Perhaps he was being polite vs. saying he would vote no. For anyone who was at Netjets before homebasing was changed, evidently this contract does not provide anything new or valuable to them. There is no talk of monetary increase. NJA management is using the new domicile list as a carrot and as a negotiating chip despite the fact that they should provide more domiciles anyway to attract more qualified pilots and to stem current attrition. Management could just offer new domiciles but they haven't - they are using it as a bargaining chip for the newer pilots who have been restricted - unlike the homebased pilots.

For a senior pilot, the new offer really doesn't provide anything substantial for them incremental to what they already have (no talk about more cash)... So, in their minds, why consider more domiciles when money should be the first priority and the domicile situation doesn't impact them (they are already lucky to be homebased). I understand their viewpoint and they have worked hard to get Netjets to where it is now (the senior pilots had to sweat through the really hard times before the last contract) but the new guys are likley to feel slighted as a result.

I still think it is in the best interest of Netjets to offer better domiciles going forward - why lose out on better qualified pilots who refuse the current domicile list. Having more domiciles has worked well for Citationshares and Avantair...
