It may be Friday, but I would find it hard to swallow that DAL would announce on the same day that they are giving out our profit sharing checks. If they do that I would be very surprised.

What is the profit sharing percentage that you guys are getting?

Anyone else got any contacts or "ins" with Publix or Kroger??

Hopefully Alaska can stay out of this bear trap...it's looking increasingly unlikely however.

The DOJ would never let Delta and Northwest merge. That would be like Exxon and Mobile merging...oh wait...uh...that would be like Royal Dutch Petrolium and Shell...no...AOL and Time Warner...nevermind.:(

One things for certain and that is the next merger will have a single list and a joint contract before AWA/USAir does!

It'll be a cold day in he!! before anyone takes the high-and-mighty chest-pounding attitude again.

After looking at the pathetic USAir attitude debacle, why would any group even consider biding arbitration ever again.

Now aint' that the truth...........

Jimmy Carter will enter the presidential race, win by a landslide, re-introduce airline regulation, ship all Airbus airframes back to Europe, and form one national airline that satisfies everyone's needs: Wal-Mart

I agree i think it will be early next week. That way it gives the market a couple days to react before the weekend. CAL/UAL following suit a week and a half afterwards. Just my 2 pennies.:pimp:

Oh well when I'm wrong, I'll say I'm wrong and it looks that way on this one. No announcement tomorrow while ALPA is now moving towards a part ownership deal.

One thing is for sure, if DAL and NWA are willing to throw in 5% ownership to get the pilots to play friendly with each other, they are for sure gonna make the merger happen as soon as they can.

A pissed off UAL group hot on the heels of a good DAL/NWA deal will go summer of love on Tilton's six if they don't get at least the same deal. Tilton on the other hand really thinks he got out of jail free with his work rule parity side letter, and the pilots will chill until January 2010 when their contract is up. This will get interesting.
