AirMidwest/Corpex???

I hate to get back on the subject, but a MX guy told me that one of our FED inspectors asked how the "merger" was going. Upon further pressure, he said he had been told about a 3C and Air Midwest thing..... no details. There are things going on at MQY, though, a company name change, buying a new dispatch system, rumors of a new maintenance base........ it's very intriguing. Any fuel for the fire, guys?

I understand that J.O. maybe looking for something to feed in case US Airways continues to shrink. All those airplanes and no mainline to feed would be a lot of lost revenue and under utilized capital for the MESA group.

Feed Who?

Who will JO feed if they merge with 3C? Unless Chatauqua gets it's 170's, pulls out from their AA agreement, and leaves that flying wide open. Which is feasible, seeing as how I don't think the ERJ market out of STL is worth losing bigger jets over. AA treats its codeshare 'partners' like doggie doo, and I wouldn't blame CHQ for bailing. But even then, what will JO do with 12 J32's besides replace them with 1900's? The scope clause has 3C limited to what it's flying now, which isn't much. And excess capacity or no, I wouldn't sell my soul to AA for anything (Heather Locklear excepted). Any ideas, or clarification?

Look outside of the MESA group/bigger than RJ's

It is most likey the types you would see lined up in MMUN (CUN). Trash-hauler types. Something with legs to go from the East coast to the West.

Well, if there was a reason to get a union before,
there really is now! We have no protection from
any slimy dealings like the CCAir guys did.

I really don't think that anything good will
happen to corpex...

I saw this in the crewroom

Corporate=Corpex
Regions = Rejex

I wish that I had come up with it.

hehehe
