I don't blame East guys for being pissed!!

If you won't allow a jump seater then I hope your very own jump seat privileges are taken away!! You certainly do not deserve to "Ever" ride on a jump seat again!

I don't either. They're pissed at the wrong people however. They need to look at the guy in the mirror...the one that was 100% insistent that he receive DOH. Despite several warnings to the contrary, that delusional group would not let go of it.

They got what they deserve, a fair arbitration.

If they had been more reasonable, Who knows?

Well they are about to get alot more. Once the Judge gets the trial going, February or March, watch for some serious back peddling by USAPA. They will have to go into damage control mode as the arguments for financial damages to the West pilots become clear. Every East pilot is accountable for the mess we are in. They were unreasonable for failing to follow the arbitration and now they are about to be held accountable. The angry FO club over there is one thing, but every East Pilot that voted for USAPA allowed this mess to happen. Get ready for an announcement that LCC lost $750M - $1.25B in 2009. More shrinkage is coming. They chose a path that saved their furloughees who were recalled … they choose a path that sacrificed their merger partner’s pilots. Unfortunately, the recallees will not be immune in the next round and once Parker and Kirby get the new hires out the door, the recallees will go with active AWA pilots as well. Every day that the East allows USAPA to continue on the present course is the continuance of the downward spiral in LCC. The East pilots are on a course to destroy the airline. They are responsible … we will see what the Judge says this spring. BTW, ignore the idiot in the room – it is for everyone’s benefit.
 
The Merge should be by "Date of Hire". No doubt about it!

East got hosed on Uniforms too. USAIR side had way better looking and more professional uniforms.
 
Why don't you guys sue ALPO as well since they didn't force the Nic list either. Even if the judge were to wave his magic gavel in your favor it will be appealed to the circuit court.

I think LCC is quite capable of destroying itself without the help of the east pilots!
 
I would assume the judge's ruling would be immediately implemented and USAPA will have to post a bond for any damages caused to the west pilots.

Then the appeals will begin. If Judge Wake finds that USAPA and/or the company are harming the west pilots he WILL NOT allow one party to continually harmed while a lengthy appeals process drags on.

Criminals go to jail then get the right to appeal. They don't get to languish at home for years. They rot in jail.
 
Just keep listing to USAPA's legal team's advice, they have not lied to you yet! Seperate ops. and no nic. till the East decides, not the courts! Yeahhhhhh!

Hmmmm. Mesa had to put a bond when they lost the Hawaiian case. Cease and desist order, put up a bond, THEN start your appeal.

Either way UCRAPA will be bankrupt and the east pilots will have to pay an assessment to pay off not only the west pilots but also your "crack" legal advisor Sheeham. You will see sheemam running toward the door with your cash in suitcases.

if the east wants DOH. they better fix their seniority list from previous mergers first. Their guys have and incredible double standard.

DOH is the only fair way. You get in line with your DOH and there is no line cutting. Take a number, its your DOH.

What about the seniority lost due to outsourcing. You got hired into fokkers doing regional flying, outsource that flying so noone young can get the same opportunity, and then argue for strict DOH??

Aww...poor MCDU (who doesn't even work for USAir). If you're so worried about the old codgers getting screwed, then let's rearrange the seniority list to be based on age. That would be a much better way to allow older AWA pilots to get to fly the widebody flying that THEY should be entitled to.
 
This is the only way it will work. Nic or DOH. It does not matter. The 2 pilot groups are too hostile.

The West pilots do not allow Easties to J/S sighting safety issues. Imagine trying to pair them up to fly together. I think it is a safety issue and I believe I can not share a cockpit with a Westie. It is plain and simple, it is unsafe. AWA pilots are correct when they say a real USAIR pilot should not be allowed on the J/S. It is afterall a safety issue when two hostile workgroups clash. Thats why we should never combine thisw pilot group.

Permanent seperate ops. Kind of like KLM and
Air France or Lufthansa and Swissair or SAS and Braathens etc. Heck, we could even give the AWA name back.

This is the only solution I see, because it is getting uglier by the day. I know the EAST would be fine with a divorce from Mesa Grande.

Get a clue McDu. You're childishness will probably cost us our no fly list. Then you'll either play nice or get fired. I'm 6'3" and 230lbs, I'm not afraid of climbing in the cockpit with an eastie. When I do I'll act in a professional maner, that is if I ever fly again. Seniority stays outside the airplane.

US Airways can go back on the chopping block and you'll all end up on the street. Still want that divorce Einstein? The Easties's will abide by the injunction and negiotate in good faith or be held in comtempt of court. Once the appeal is complete with the 9th the company will move ahead with an integrated pilot group with contract signing.

Time is running out for the angry F/O club on Cranberry Lane. Many east Captains are coming to their senses and dozens of Westies are becoming members in good standing every week. Say goodnight MC-the party is over..

So, what exactly is going on with this mess right now? I am assuming lawyers/courts/judges, but when will this thing finally get resolved and what is the likely out come?
