I wonder if they are just pandering to what the public thinks anyway. The captain obviously flies the plane and lands it, and the other guy is a co-pilot there to take over if he dies. Also there to say "great landing boss"

I am gunna bet that it is the EAL DC-7 that hangs out in South FL. Not sure why they did the DC-6 thing, when Pam Am did operate DC-7's at that time. They needed a real pilot for a tech advisor.
