No, This sounds gay:
" SAAAAY, How Could you wear those pants with that eye shadow?"

Black Balled!

Well, jetBlue has a reputation of black balling people. Perhaps someone he worked with at Independence who now works for jetBlue heard through the grapevine that he got hired then went to the people department and said he had a problem with this person working at jetBlue too.

OR there IS something sinister in his background.

OR, as I've heard before, after many, many months of waiting just to get phase 2, they decide 'no' to phase 1.

OR, maybe the applicant is not being truthful. What airline ever discloses the reason they don't hire someone? Hummmm......

This sounds more gay:
"Timmy, slow down! you are bruising my cheeks!"

The founding fathers would be rolling their graves hearing crap like this. You act like you're a patriotic American but you refuse to have equal rights? Its not "PC crap", it's what this whole country stands for. Opportunity for everyone, fair shot no matter what your beliefs/skin color etc etc. I'm all for protecting this country, but this blind ignorance bull$hit has got to stop. Just pathetic.

:puke:

All you guys who are so quick call some one a "hater". Here's a question.

1. Would you feel comfortable if 20 of your pax were 18 - 30 year old Arab Muslim men on your aircraft?

2. Would you feel comfortable when 10 of them stood up at once and moved in unison toward the front of the aircraft?

3. Would you just sit there and say "I'm going to be fair and give them the benefit of the doubt"?

If you answered "no" to 1 & 2 then that must make you a hatefilled person. If you answered "yes" then you don't understand the nature of the threat.

I don't know this guys real story but he's probably just got sour grapes.

Not me. I don't know this guys real story but he's probably just got sour grapes.

Of course I wouldn't be comfortable with that. If they were white, black, green, purple, it doesn't matter, yes I would not be comfortable with 10 people gathering at the cockpit door. But this is not the case. The guy is just trying to make a living, he's been in the cockpit for 6 years now. I don't know why you posted this little story, because I don't know anyone that would be comfortable in that situation. It has absolutely nothing to do with one Pakistani man who has been living here for a long time now and just wants a job.

This is America! If a company doesn't want to hire you because you have too many letters in your name, it is their RIGHT to do so. All of this PC crap has got to end, or it is going to take this great country right down the crapper. It is NOT the governments place to tell private companies and individuals how to conduct business... it is up to the businesses to decide & the marketplace to judge their decisions.
Ha, wake up and smell the pizza, America...it's not just for white people anymore.

You are sadly mistaken about the Founding Fathers. Might I suggest you spend some time here:

http://www.archives.gov/national-archives-experience/charters/charters.html

If I start a company I should have the FREEDOM to hire whoever I want to, regardless of the reason. Working for me is not an equal right provided by the bill of rights or the constitution. If I want to fire a long time employee and replace him with someone else, then that is my RIGHT. It is not the right thing to do, but it is my right! Sadly, the rights of individuals are trampled on every day in this country under the veil of equal rights laws. On the flip side, it is the right of an employee to show up for work or not. Each employee has the right to quit if they desire. This is not a matter of race, creed, or religion.

I should have the right to operate my business as I see fit, and others have the right to not work for me or purchase my products. So should JetBlue.

We, as a nation, are a bunch of whining crybabies. Whenever something doesn't go our way, we run to the lawyers. Before you know it, some short & fat guy is going to sue the NBA because they were denied their equal right to play professional basketball. Where will it end?

Equal rights come with equal responsibility.

Not sure how Baig behaved, but you are now including behavior....

RedBelly, thats racism. Plain and simple. Your talking about a throwback to the days of segregation. We have these laws so that everyone has a fair shot at living and succeeding in this country.

Yes, there are a lot of junk law suits, but in almost all cases, a lawyer is the only option we as citizens have when we are in need of legal help.

Faisal may have had a problem in training in the rj at ACA, Indy. So did a lot of people who now work at JB. This guy is a stand up guy who has been in this country for 33 years. I don't know all of the details but I think what JB did was wrong.

Alright change the sinario.

You walk up to the gate and notice 20 young Arab Muslim men waiting to board your flight?

I'd be very concerned. The fact is that not one white, black, hispanic or asian man hijacked the airplanes on 9-11.

If he thinks he is being singled out for his religion, maybe he needs to stop and look at who is causing the terrorism in the world. Not everyone of his faith is a terrorist. But the facts are the facts. Members of his religion are causing these problems and if JB was concerned then they did the right thing. Imagine if something happened after they hired him. We would all be saying why did they hire him? Members of his religion need to stand up and tell the ones causing the problems to stop. So far they haven't stood together to say stop, but that's for another thread.

WTF? He had a problem in training, and you do not know all the details, but what JB did was wrong? So, JB's hiring criteria should be:
1. Been in country at least 33 years.
2. Stand up guy.

Great post.

A good lawyer wouldn't be wearing no junk law suit.
