The Easyjet guy is the COO....and yes that was who "quit" (along with the finance guy). I just checked me Spirit email.

Waite and see who they get to replace them that will tell you what is going on. Most likely it was an internal pissing match and their side lost.
 
Great...so now our union will have to deal with Ornstein. I hope we get our contract finished before he gets here.

Based on your previous posts, I thought you were going back to United? Did you decide to stay at Spirit?

I think our new union reps will do a great job, but I don't think we should intentionally drag out these negotiations if the company is willing to give us a fair deal.

The company will probably be willing to give us a fair deal on our contract just to avoid the headacke of dealing with the new angry union. This is leverage that can be used by the current negotiating team.
