That's simply because the damn unions ruined this career.

All the slackers and inefficient pilots are dragging us all down. I'd love to fire half of the slackers here in Philly. Sick calls, and crying about everything. Waaa. Learn to work for a living, huh!
 
This isn't a generational thing..............it has everything to do with self respect and respect for others, or the lack thereof.

Spot on. When I see film or photos shot 30+ years ago, I can't help but notice how much our society has declined in those terms.

Like in the 1930's with the "Great Depression" in full swing & Mafia gangsters beating the respect out of ordinary civilians to extort them? Those days? All you guys sound like a Rodney Dangerfield skit with all this talk about how you get no respect... Human nature has not changed with past generations. We interact & treat each other the sameway today as we did 30, 100, 1000 years ago. To think some particular time period holds the perfect society, is ridiculous...
