its opening a EMB140 base in ORD in april to do aa flying and its going to be mostly 3-4 day trips

whats the difference with them flying in ord vs flying in stl? theyre still flying for AA. you guys at eagle need to find ways to better spend your 5 years on reserve.

The E140 is actually an outgrowth of the E135 airframe (I believe it's designated EMB135-KL, or close), rather than a shrunken 145, and as such it's the dog of the family. It holds 44 pax. It was designed by Embraer specifically to get around rather strong caps in APA's contract on the number of 50-seat and up jets, prior to 9/11. As such, only Eagle and CHQ have ever owned it.
 
Did CHQ get the memo that there are never any gates available at the Eagle concourse?
