I had no idea Bob Slydell had a position with NWA management....wmudriver said:The way the NWA family likes to give out bad news is on Fridays and especially before holidays.

The way the NWA family likes to give out bad news is on Fridays and especially before holidays. With 9E in Section 6 negotiations, it is possible for them to get cornholed a few times before they finally settle with the company. NWA likes to play games like that; Like shrink and grow airlines (shrunk 9E before they started recieving CRJs) and have shrunk XJ in the past (like parking 5 Avros then magically finding the funding to fly them again).
Saw the 15 or so Pinnacle CRJ's parked today out in Tucson, AZ... they are intermixed with about 30 former Independence Air CRJs on the South Bombardier Ramp
Not our Avros anymore. Gonna be a saab-only operation. Need to get concessions for the old b@stards first. After the NWA TA passed is there any question XJ will be giving huge concessions? Nope. The old b@stards will throw the young under the bus as they did during the contract. Our 12 Avro's are out there too, at MZJ I think.
