So you dont think that Mesaba and Pinnacle should pay .80 cents for their fuel? Would you like them to pay more?

Thats fine, but will YOU please raise the ticket price for those flights so they can pay for the higher fuel price. The price of the airfare is out of Mesaba and pinnacles control.

Why dont you just charge 1 dollar for a mesaba or pinnacle ticket and then charge them 700.00 dollars a gallon for fuel. Not to smart an arguement is it?

I agree that argument makes no sense.

For instance nwa leases the saabs for 28,000 per plane per month. Mesaba pays 34,240 per plane per month. None of the math makes sense the companies are so intertwinded they simply pay what the can get cheapest. NWA can get cheaper gas through whole sale so they offset it with higher lease payments and the like.

Redmeat let me guess you have never been accussed of being bright.
