Everyone, please grow up and return FI into a place where professionals can discuss relevant issues with some intelligence.

look slappy, if you want a
legitimate thread, you're in the wrong place. this place has been overrun by General Lee/737_Pylt/Jmoney/etc. plus, tanker clown is an absolute a$$clown.

Furthermore, SWA pilots are about to get absolutely bent over with the new contract negotiations. Do their pilots really think they're going to continue on this payscale? with basically zero growth? That is why I'll probably end up an NWA. SWA pilots should prepare to get back where they were...the @ss end of the industry. finito, done, finished.. Via con Dios.

i wish there was a way to find out who this joker is so he would NEVER set foot at SWA. After the way he has bashed SWA he should stay away.

NWA is a bottom feeder, with scumbag leadership and a tenuous future at best. But flying a 737 for the next 30 years....ouch. I'd love the MSP domicile. And it's a job now. Please provide some opinions. Thank you.

NWA bashing is sport around here, especially among those who have no real knowledge of the Co. or it's strengths.

I'm sure where you are now has a better future or is a much better place of employment, or did you apply for NWA just so you'd have more to whine about here?

Do we have some hard ass management that are difficult to work with - absolutely. That said NWA is probably one of the best positioned carriers in the industry, and will likely have the least impact by age 65, despite what NuGuy has said about our last position award.

True, I should not bash the airline with perhaps the worst employee/managment relationship in the industry.

I am considering it because, just like I am a number to them, they are a number to me...an income, a job, a way to put food on the table. Nothing more, nothing less. I wish it was not so, but this is what the industry has evolved into.

If you work in this industry and feel any kind of loyalty, I would venture that it's extremely one-sided.

If more people "got it", like jke406 "gets it", we'd get a lot farther in contract negotiations. These are the facts.

Unfortunately, most guys don't understand the facts until they are mostly through their career. After their third or fourth S**T sandwich in the industry they finally go "huh, maybe Glenn, Doug, Gerard, Bill, Carl, Frank, Richard, Don, Herb, Stephen, Fred, Hulas, etc. doesn't care about me or the airline the way I care about my job."
