Thank God!
NWA pilots think they have some sort of entitlement. Demanding DOH!
Maybe you guys should pair up with the Us Airways east pilots......Now THAT's a good match!
Imagine the reps telling the rank and file......
Well guys, we know you stand to get:
30% raises over the life of the contract
DC plan to 14%
RJ's capped at 255
$75k in equity.
But they won't agree to a staple!

Talk about MORONS!

If management really walked from this deal, there is an alterer motive.
I really do not think that this is over. This was round one.

There should be a written rule at ALPA National how airline pilot groups should merge if there is consolidation in the airline industry. ( if both a represented by ALPA). If here would be some kind of rule/guidance, pilot groups would know what they are getting into, you save tons of money, no merger funds needed... because in the end ALPA benefits from all the cash their lawyers get. DOH or the purchasing company gets a 2:1 integration or what ever it may be.

I'm betting on a mediator and a list very close to DOH. With oil over 100/barrell these guys need to get it done.

This sounds like good news to me. Probably would have resulted in a cascade of mergers industry-wide that could have screwed over a lot of pilots.

double post

Just updated their news report. Apparently the reports from their "source" were false according to DAL management. Too bad.
