If folks were not so scared out of dollars and into commodities.... Obama's "hope" speech is a little thin on details, but he is right about something. The prescription for this crisis of confidence is hope. He is politically astute to bring "hope" to the table when the other candidates are not in a position to sell the same message.

If traders would return to their senses oil would be around $60 to $80, making NWA's and DAL's fleet of narrow body jets more viable.

Define "hope".....He just voted to allow the Bush tax cuts to expire which raises taxes on most Americans....Raising taxes won't bring us out of our current problem....it will make it worse....

We need to define is version of "hope".....I "hope" it doesn't come from the pulpit of Rev. Wright......

We can't spend and tax our way to prosperity.....

Actually I supported Fred Thompson and then voted for Ron Paul in the primary.....I will vote for McCain as the best choice for Commander in Chief over Hillary or Obama....

The primary responsibility of the Federal Govt. is protect the Republic from external threats....Now one can argue whether or not the war in Iraq is doing any good....

I do think that Islamic facism is a threat.....I go back and forth on whether the war in Iraq is doing any good.....I trust McCain more with that 3AM call in the middle of the night....

Were there mistakes made? Sure....there always are.....Decisions were made after the attacks of 911 based on the intelligence that was available.....Hillary voted for authorization also....

We have to deal with the current situation....Al Queda and Iran are in Iraq.....and they are a threat to this country.....

I agree that the war in Iraq is costly....but if you pull out too fast....the cost could be even more...that is the concern at this point......
