Gut, watch what you say! I didn't think our last trip was that bad.
Also the best $500 aviation investment I have made in years!!
One problem with the mike is this:
If the mike jack backs out of the headset every so slightly... you won't know it and miss radio calls from center.
The way I avoid this is listen to Rush on the ndb radio. If I don't hear Limbaugh ... I know the mike jack has backed out.
Either that or the Democrats have pushed through the unFairness doctrine.
Ya but not to worry, it's TSO'd.If the mike jack backs out of the headset every so slightly... you won't know it and miss radio calls from center
Does uflymike work with QC3? I find it more comfortable than QC2.
Ya but not to worry, it's TSO'd.![]()
Airplanes are TSO'd but they crash.
Replace the O-Ring on the UFLY MIC adapter if the connection between the headest and the boom mic seems loose.
Common sense? Yes.
Kinda unziping your fly before pizzing. Next thing you know, I may need unifomr pants with a TSO so I can pee without remembering to unzip my fly.
I have a placard on my pants for this very reason.
They should take the "pull for quick erect" found on the standby attitude indicator and placard that one on our zipper!I have a placard on my pants for this very reason.
I'm afraid that knowing that a headset can fail in this manor {sic} and still choosing to use such junk is what's funny! lol.
Dude, you are a piece of work, you attack a poster that has passed on some very informative safety related information, you got stock in the company or are you really that stupid. I wonder if the people you fly for realize what a tool you are, glad you don't fly for an airline. If you've got THAT much confusion in the cockpit, you've got bigger problems than which headset you're using...
By the testimonials here I certainly can believe that it is doing a good job, so much so that I went to the web site to investigate, but just looking at the design made me wonder what the effects of gravity and movement on the cord would have on the plug, then bingo, a post from gunfyter verifies it, I'm afraid I can't afford to take that chance, and why don't they mention this flaw on their website, hmm. My Clarity Aloft headset was made as a pilot headset from it's conception and you don't have the oops factor that you have with this system, I'll pass.

Dude, glad you don't fly for an airline.
If the UFM is losing connection either the o-ring is worn or missing or the interface plug is damaged. The design is as trustworthy as the plugs that are at the end of all cordsets. If your equipment is not operating properly, tell us, so we can fix it!

I'll second that.Mike,
