Well according to the communication the "weasel" put out today, we won't see "a reduction in headcount" (yet) but a decrease of 10 crews in ATL and increase of 10 in IAD...rob peter to pay paul, on and thanks for you're patience while we consult with Ms. Cleo er shake the magic 8 ball....er....handle our operationcal challenges.

Umm, sounds like better news than the gloom and doom everyone was forecasting. No downgrades, no furloughes, just base displacements.

They never put out anything OFFICIAL. The XJT MEC did put out an official announcement...I can't vouch for what any individual said on their own....

but it appears it was said regardless Joe, along with your buddy SH saying it in recurrent, the XJT letter was a nice gesture to take our pilots IF there was a furlough here

I can't wait for your threads when you start bidding lines again as a Junior Captain after the JCBA and the XJT MEC staples you to the bottom of the ca list for being such a d bag.

ASA had already taken your furloughed pilots...Was there any doubt that our actions wouldn't be reciprocated IF the need ever arrose? Our pilots took this official communication from your MEC as fact and attacked our MEC for not putting anything out to our pilots. In addition, it was irresponsible to put this information out as official before it was fact. It cleary stated that there would be ASA furloughs coming to class on the ERJ.

Actually Joe. If you check your facts (oh wait,........) the ASA MEC put in their newsletter that the XJT MEC would sign such a LOA before it was even discussed.

Oh well. I guess you missed it while you were cruising around the country in you CRJ 900 for 37 seat rates.

WHOOPS!

Fact Check:
1: Joe is on the 200
2: Staple one person to the bottom of the list for personal reasons? Even if its a joke its a terrible one
3:ASA 900 rates are not 37 seat rates
4: Don't post about checking facts with a whole lot of inaccuracies in that very same post

Because you've proven yourself so adept at that in other thread (rolleyes).

Fact Check: It was flame bait you idiot.

I have an idea. Since the ASA pilots are so concerned about saving the company money we should create a B scale for them. They can fly for TSA -$5. The XJT guys will get the raise and the work rules and the ASA guys can keep helping the company out.

Did you suffer from some sort of brain trauma, or were you just born stupid?

What, are they converting the fuel system to run on wet dreams? That’s what you have left over from career aspirations when you sell out and join an outfit like that. Sadly, probably not but one can hope.

They are already loaded in DL net unfortunately. The race to the bottom has been lost.

Ive heard Gojet's bid the flying at a loss. When DL is through with them, they will be.sitting next to Pinnacle.

Gojet may have a cheaper pilot group, but they cannot compete with the economies of scale of Skywest Inc. Additionally, Inc's credit rating allows it to secure new aircraft at a much lower lease rate then any other regional out there. Good luck to them outbidding INC with their MRJ fake order. In conclusion, Gojet isn't taking over anything

Yep, you're right, because in the history of Delta, there's never been a last minute schedule (or operating carrier) change.

No freak'in way unless the 50 seat comes up to 70 seat pay!

And then some. Why should it just be brought up to 70 seat pay? What benefit do us 700 crews get from that? No pay raise, plus the added job of learning the 200. I will vote NO for any contract that includes dual-qual.

Pay everyone 700 rates, pay anyone that flies the 700/900 an override. The 700 crews will also get increased pairing selection to choose from.

I agree

Look under current schedules

Look at their certificate. They have to get approval for these airframes. They are at their max at this time. Hence DAL wanted ASA to continue flying them until they are approved.

Watch what happens with the politics on this one in DC.

Do you believe in the Easter Bunny? Increased pairing selection? To fly the 50? If you want to fly the 700/900, bid it! If you don't have the seniority, then fly what you can bid.

If the 50's are going away, why sense does it make to have dual qual? It's a pay cut!

4am... You are losing sleep over this one. My favorite is when you said. "You guys on ready reserve don't want dual qual. It means you will have to fly more on RR." I think most people on RR would rather be flying than be sitting doing nothing.

You were so concerned with saving the company money with PBS. Now that saving the company money will affect you, all you do is wine about it.
