Broke, that line doesn't work anymore. MOST people (and alot of good ones) were rejected by NJA in the last two years. So what ever you are trying to portray with that statement i'd like to know.

The word search was fun, but I thought asking me to fill in the V-speeds was a little much.

"find what's different" was my fav! Some nice pack packs we got this week. More visors!!! we must have more visors!! j/k

NetJets won't furlough. The bottom 200 represent 25% of the SIC's in the 680. Seems like a logistical nightmare to me.

I don't know who is throwing this crap that we are going to furlough out, but it is just that. CRAP.

Actually,

It's coming from some of your guys on the road.

They are spreading crap.

I hope so too. I wouldn't count on interviews in Jan.

Whoever we says we are furloughing come from two camps.

1. They are jelous and like spreading crap.
2. They don't want to sound elitist to whomever they are speaking to because whomever it is probably is discussing their own furloughs.

That is all. Simple. And its not going to happen sorry the simple truth is that the others blinked before us and now we have to capitalize on the PR and the sense of stability this brings us.

Its all about perception. Not numbers.

You are 100% right Diesel.

I hope it doesn't happen to you guys, but take it easy on the confidence in this recession. You DON'T know what the company's plans are. They are not obligated to tell you. They can say one thing, and do another. This just happened to both my wife and I. Heck I was a bottom of the barrell sim instructor. You'd think the stability would be there.

I would never want a furlough or layoff on any specific pilot group. Granted they are two different companies, but FLOPS furloughed 104 pilots. 90+ something of the pilots were BE400 SIC's. I used to tell people the same thing when rumors started coming up about the 150 furloughs at FLOPS. (They aren't going to cut 150 pilots in seniority, it will dismantle the BE400 fleet.)
I was wrong...
I'm not trying to spread rumors, but a SIC is not necessary to fly the airplane when you have qualified captains that can fly with each other.
It goes to show that this whole thing that Fractional's are recession proof is BS, when 3 fractional's have furloughed and more will be coming. I would love it if someone could proof me to be wrong.

We don't know what economic disasters can follow what we have already seen. I don't even think WB and RTS know. So we can't say there never would be furloughs.

Right now we are busy enough and I would think remain so through what is normally the busy season ... the busy season is more like the normal season.

If the economic recovery begins by the summer ... I think everything will be good. If it does not... I think we all will have larger problems than whether NJ furloughs ... even if we are not the ones who are furloughed.
