That's a great question but it will be another year and a half before it becomes an issue since all the pilots coming over from NJA must have at least two years with NJA and 5000 hours total time. Therefore, anyone bidding the G-IV (G-V is not an available bid for NJA) is a pre-ratification pilot and already has home basing.

Read the LOU closer now.

"i. In the event an insufficient number of NJA pilots accept posted NJI
First Officer vacancies, the Company shall allow the next NJA new
hire pilot who meets the NJI hiring criteria to transfer to NJI
immediately after his hire at NJA. The parties acknowledge and
agree that NJA in such cases shall not provide a NJA type rating to
the pilot."

Hmmm... Seems like the 2 years is waived in the case of the above so long as the 5000 hours is satisfied.

$40.80 a day or $1.70 an hour. Starts when you depart your domicile, ends when you arrive back at your domicile.

If you are CMH based it starts when your first class does.

can someone tell me how long after you send in a resume does it take to recieve an application? And after that how long does it take to get the interview to getting hired?

I emailed my resume at the beginning of July, got my application package about a week later, Filled it out and Fedex'd it back. Got en email the last week of July, saying that my application was accepted.

For those of you still waiting for the package, they want a copy of your driving record from your state. So, if you live an a state (or county) where you can't get it on line, or just walk in the the Driver License office (like I do), then you might want to get the ball rolling on that.

Other than that, it seemed like it was a pretty quick turn around time from sending the resume, to getting the acceptance email.

I don't think you will ever not see those classes filled..
