Not sure about the G's. Guess I'll find out in April. But is Emergency lighting required safety equipment on ALL aircraft certified by the FAA? At least everything I've flown. But hey you don't need them until you need them, right?

Hell maybe we can throw out the fire extinguishers and first aid kits too? Saves weight. Oh and while we're at it why don't forget the rafts as well?

Ghosty,
I think its just funny how those lights never seemed to break on the way to CMH (going home). But thats just me?!? Face it.......stuff happens... maybe they should have used LED's ...they last longer and are more durable.
Oh and you forgot the AED's lets get rid of those too!?!?! Little stuff like that isnt a weight issue in the BIG BAD GULPSTER. You'll see when you big bullies come over and "Take it away from us". BUH HA HA HA. NOT!!

Might as well keep the score even.....I couldnt resist seeing how that it appears to be the census here on this SOAP OPERA website.

I personally know a bunch of you guys over in NJA. I have eaten dinner with you, I have bought it, I have flown with you in other cockpits either before and now contractually. When you were struggling with the new TA there was no aircraft out there that you couldnt ground. The biggest brag was to be the guy (or gal) that broke the most aircraft in one day. I am not talking about for legitimate reasons...but for things like Emergency escape lights, lanyards frayed, missing position light lens (that just happened to dissapear). All this to show the company who is boss. Who is in control....well when they threw you the bone and the majority voted for it...they showed you who was in control. Look at the things they left out...you know what they are.

NOw that you have a little leg (or peg) to stand on you want to go after more....more more..me me...waaaahhh! You wont drag that mentality over here into NJI's cockpits....however when you do come over (and we welcome you)...if you work hard like the rest of us (and 90% of NJA) the you will fit in perfectly and will love it here. But come over and say "Aint my job" or drag your feet when the job needs to get done and it will make the days longer.

Wow did you you get a brand new shiny soapbox for a birthday present or something......

So you are telling me that in your get it done at all costs attitude, you would fly a aircraft without proper safety lighting and endanger yourself and your passengers????? Help me here I'm trying to understand this thinking.

Don't worry NJANJIFLEXFLOP. We have decided to LET you stay on the property and you might still get some stick time...gear up please, and make my coffee black. You can stay too Rusty...for the pure entertainment value you bring. GO TEAMSTERS :pimp:

If youve got two people in a cockpit who are supposed to be professionals in a profession they have chosen, and theyre argueing about coffee, they both have problems. Grow up.

Hey Freebased,
You NJA guys on here can't get away from that lighting thing.....It was just used as a point that you go looking for things purposely to ground the aircraft so you can crawl back to the FAT lazy boy in the FBO, eat all the FREE cookies, and brag between bitch sessions about how many aircraft you broke. I dont care if its a safety issue or not its the way you go about it. "DUH WE'LL SHOW D'EM NETJETS MGNT PEOPLE WHO IS BOSS AND COST THE WHOLE COMPANY A BUNCH OF MONEY AND PUT OUR JOBS AND REPUTATION,ON THE LINE" How many times do I have to repeat myself here. You didnt need me to stand on my new freshly polished soap box, that says "FREEDOM OF SPEECH" accross the top and "I SPEAK FOR MYSELF", and tell this story....you just need to listen to your few colleages that like to log block time in the SOFA. I guess this thread hit a soft spot.

Heyflipflopfelxjetnja or whatever you are,

Your point (whatever it is) is worthless. Who cares if we grounded an aircraft for small but legal reasons. Sure, a point was made and in the end, we got our pay and rules where they should be. Major airlines and cargo guys do the same thing when they wish to make a point during contract time.

You are out of your place to say that we are all here scheming on how we can get "more more more" next time round. I think that the majority of people here are content...............lets just take it one day at a time here kid. Last but not least, dont you even dare imply, generalize or warn us that we had best not "drag our feet" over in your little egocentric part of the world................we are hard working guys here, and dont talk down to us like we are 2nd graders. You make your self sound like the 3rd Wright Brother explaining to us all that you bought us dinners and have flown with us and that we had better be on our best behavior.

Geeeeez, your ego really has the best of you. Calm down, relax, take some valium and dont be so worried about us!!!!!!

WRONG, WRONG, WRONG! I never once inconvenienced a passenger by pulling low ball tactics like your alluding too. When it came time to go on strike, we went. But we did our jobs like the professionals we were right up to 23:59hours. Your beef should have been with the NMB, their responsible for not letting you have self help. Not the company.

This is what is so pathetic about you Teamsters, you bend the rules, you break airplanes, and you openly waste corporate funds that aren’t yours. You think because you drive the bus, you deserve what the guy in the back gets. And you’re willing to do anything it takes to get your way.

I personally witnessed an X crew in HPN break their plane with some BS write-up, and left the APU running while they sat in the lounge. I’m in the back of the room listening to the 2 monkeys laugh about it, and how they’d time out before the mechanic could look at it. One guy starts cussing Mr. Santulli and “this will show him” crap; the other guy turns around and sees me, hits his partner in the arm and walks out to the hanger. Real professional there girls.

And don’t go dragging every other pilot into your cesspool Chucky. If everyone was jumping off a cliff, would you jump to? Your lack luster drive to stand on your own feet and speak for yourself shines like the sun in Florida.

You’re a lowball, stinking dirty piece of trash, and a disgrace to professional pilots. But that explains why you’re a Teamster. You bring that mentality to NJI and I can promise you a return ticket to “Perfectville” faster than you can spell grievance. You’re coming to my backyard to play, leave your toys at home, Dirt Bag!

Your right! My grandson is in 2nd grade. He has 200 times the integrity you do.

I dont think you qualify for Kindergarten status.
