Oh Marty.........another kick in your boyfriend's B@lls.

Get over it.........The Nic is here to stay.

No windfall for your man lover, no windfall for the west!

Your Khadafi loving man hat has gotten you nowhere. Don't try to be a DICK tater or leader. You are neither.

Just ask your man love how your DICK tated last nite.

Priceless!

So quick question. Has anyone else heard the new rumor? AA merger or even AA buy out of US. West and East integration would seem like two squirts of p!ss if that happens.

If US Airways fragments and the east is absorbed by AA you can forget all about Mccaskill Bond; the east pilots will be looking back longingly at the Nicolau thinking about what might have been...

Rumors are that AMR will buy some east pieces and Republic will buy Phoenix. Who knows how this will shake out, but LCC is in trouble financially and the east is a real liability- no surprise there, we may see a third bankruptcy in less than 7 years! For some reason the east just was never a winner- Piedmont and PSA both got sucked into the mess and now AWA. HIstory may not repeat but it sure does rhyme. Good luck to you west pilots.

Yup -

Heard that a few times in the past two weeks - from AAA and someone from AA. Also, sort of believe that was behind the LGA/DCA swap that AAA and DAL orchestrated last month. AA big in LGA, DAL gets more slots in LGA, AAA gets bigger in DCA.

The disclaimer - past mergers are no guarantee of future mergers!

Metrojet

Since when does AA have the financial ability to do any purchasing?
Some of the talking head analysts aren't too hot on AA's cash position right now and with the credit markets being basically frozen, I doubt any more mergers/acquisitions will happen through the rest of '09.

Your post lacks any decent premises. Try again.
