I don't think they pay your taxes-you just are exepmt for a portion while working outside the U.S.


With such a high local tax burden, I'm sure that the employer will take responsibility for those taxes, otherwise no one will want to go.

They don't want any ASA pilots to go. They would love to fill those slots with SKYW pilots and their 50-seat rate. (can we still joke about that?) ;)

The flaw in that theory is "why would SKYW want to take the cheaper pilots of Skywest off the payroll over the more expensive ASA pilots off the payroll".

Remember, the position will be for and paid by Mekong Air, not SKYW inc.
 
The rates will not be Skywest or ASA rates. They will be Mekong rates and Mekong work rules. Can you say Walmart?
