Info I heard was an MCO base late this year or early 2008. The reason for the delay is they want to open MCO as a base after the move to new gates. That's all I know.

Are you including CAL?

Not only quicker upgrades to the A320, but E190 CA in 1-2 years. Are CAL upgrades quick too? GOOD.

Here's my 2 cents on CAL. FO's get hardly any pay to start there and no medical either. How is CAL going fund their pension this year? Last year they sold CPA stock. What's it going to be this year? I understand CAL has been bankrupt twice? Is it one more bankruptcy and then CH7 under US laws? A UAUA and CAL merger would be nice, but NWA has the golden vote to nix any such move. EWR base? Not any better than JFK...

Overall though CAL is a great airline and their numbers look great for 2007. My only concern is in the future, how does CAL as well as AMR compete with UAUA, LCC, DAL, and NWA who no longer have to fund pensions and who've renegotiated better contracts, leases, etc?
