Heard a good one the other day, sounds feasible though.

Bill Boisture to take over reins at FLOPS, Mike Schwinga to get sacked.

Sounds funny....

W W Boisture, Jr, a former president of NetJets, has joined US private equity giant The Carlyle Group as a senior advisor to the aerospace and defence team. Boisture will help identify attractive investments in the aerospace, defence and business services sectors. He will also provide management, industry and marketing guidance to existing portfolio companies.
Prior to joining NetJets, Boisture served from 1994 to 2003 at General Dynamics Corporation in several senior capacities.

From 1991 to 1993 Boisture was president of British Aerospace Corporate Jets, and from 1989 to 1991 he was chairman and chief executive officer of Butler Aviation, predecessor company to Signature Flight Services. He also served in senior capacities at Skyworld/Ports of Call Airlines, Simuflite Training International and Candair (predecessor company to Bombardier Aerospace).

Boisture was a fighter pilot in the US Air Force and was honourably discharged as a major after 11 years of service.

Peter J Clare, Carlyle managing director and head of the Aerospace, Defense & Business Services team, said, 'Bill knows aerospace and defence literally inside and out, which will be a great asset to Carlyle and our portfolio companies. From his days as an Air Force fighter pilot to his experience running aviation manufacturing and service companies, his experience gives him exceptional insights into market trends and customer needs.'

Boisture is on the board of directors of the Association of Graduates of the Air Force Academy, a trustee of the Falcon Foundation and a member of the World Presidents Organization.

Well,

Didnt he fight the union tooth and nail at NJ? I dont see why he would come here and put himself in the fight. Time will tell....

Anyone would be an improvement over our current moron CEO. Hell, Bullwinkle would be a huge step up from Sh!thead.

So, where did your rumor start, probably with a Floptions pilot?

Bill B is a union buster..That's his MO...Smack the sh&t out of him like we did..

Think the Jack Palance character in SHANE...

He will be brought in for one job...to kill the union.

As posted above, if he shows up...do what Shane did! ;)

I was listening to a senior negotiator at NJA. He said he was in the the negotiating room when the turning point in the 05 negotiations happened. That was when Moisture realized that the nja pilots where ready to burn the place down rather than take the company offer/continue with the 98cba. FLOPS pilots will not get a contract until then make managment realize they are ready to burn the place down..

Moisture is a hired gun. He isn't even very good. He is unoriginal and easy to upset emotionally. He turns red and blue veins when you get him.

Get him!

Anyway, he's a hack... there is someone pulling his strings at all times and he is authorized to do nothing he doesn't offer as a result of being authorized. Never accept no from someone who isn't authorized to say yes.

With Flight Options management mentality... only one thing is certain. Unless you are prepared to lose everything, you will gain NOTHING.

Moisture's employment contract is signed and secured before he steps on your property. The less you get the more he does.

Give him a kiss for us boys. He likes Airforce games... he was once a pilot and he'll use that fact to try and get in close to you.

Moisty, moisty... I'm so glad you left here... we just got the place running well again.

moisture

He hired and fired a bunch of people when he came here at NJ. He will ask for your "help" to try and make things right but hes just gathering facts to screw you during those long hard negotiations.

Probably one of the better tactics we used (at least for pilot satisfaction) was to not to ask any questions during his talks.... and we all showed up with union shirts. He was pretty upset when we first started doing it..... later speeches would end with, " I know you dont have any questions for me" and he would leave.

Shorteded up his BS speeches a bunch.
