I am so sick of hearing that I need to quit my job because of some puffy chested major airline pilot might have to sell his vacation home.

we need to stop pointing the finger at who's at fault or not and focus on what gets us out of this mess. the fact is that we have lost leverage. alpa carriers are underbidding other alpa carriers to get the work at the regional level as the airplanes that are flown there continue to get bigger. i don't have the answer, but merging lists may be a solution. something needs to be done to shed us of the "whipsaw." as long as mainline guys are too proud to add their regional guys to the list and regional folks don't mind underbidding others to get the work, we'll never move forward.
