The Global is quiet, roomy, and a very comfortable ride. But there are reasons why Bombardier made such a smoking deal on the Globals with NetJets.

I'm curious what you think those reasons are other than Gulfsteam's unwillingness to negotiate their pricing. Seems to me Bombardier was smart enough to go after market share and offered more airplane for the dollar. In my opinion, Bombardier has a VERY competitive product and Gulfstream may regret their decision not to compete. Of course with an order book full through 2018 and a maintenance infrastructure seemingly bursting at the seems, maybe they made the right choice. Time will tell.

Funny you mentioned the clean sheet design on the 300. I couldn't agree with you more, but no sense crying about what could have been. We'll just keep pushing buttons for the sake of pushing buttons. It makes us look much more important anyway. :(
