Well, I WOULD tack this message onto the end of my last post called "The Time has Come, NetJets Class Date".....HOWEVER.....Somehow that post got deleted from the board......mmmmm...wonder why ?????

Anyway, for those of you keeping track or just wondering, I will be in the EXCEL (and yes, I capitalized that...mmm), indoc starting on 17th. Simulator in Toledo on June 7th.

Once again, thanks to ALL who helped out in this process, drop by during indoc and find me (and I am being serious about that) and we will go have a beer.

That's got to be the biggest downfall to flying the Excel.
Who are you kidding, I would swap a CMH recurrent for a TOL any day. :D

I think they finally added rudder bias to the XL sim in TOL, but I think it has the UNS FMS instead of our Honeywell FMZ. If so, you'll come back to CMH for a few hours of FMS class to learn the FMZ.

Good to hear jato. You'll like the Excel. Great airplane and a great group of guys flying them.

Nope, I will be out of DEN

Oh...and I personally did not delete any posts, I think someone else talked to a moderator and got it deleted..........

Anything past about 35N is just too far up there for me....I get cold just thinking about visiting places like that in the summer.. :D

So are they setting up domiciles in those cities? Does everyone have to move? Are they going to pay for the moves? Commuting has got to be a bitch when you can't jumpseat.

Welcome to NJA

My company recurrent was just changed, I will be there from 22nd this month through 28th. If you haven't fond Easton by then I will show you, A large Sam Adams will do me fine well maybe 2 or 3, na I will just let ya know when to stop bringing them.

Stingray,

I saw you were leaving the Ultra fleet! Thats too bad, cause a couple more tours with me and I would have you trained....hahaha

I hope you enjoy that APU. Save me a seat in that bird!

Jato,

Congrats on getting the job. You'll regret is soon enough, lol.

Forget about the beer though. Our company is very anti-fun(beer).

Just be careful

Come on! NetJets is not "anti-fun" as you put it, matter of fact they want us all to have a great time - drink all we want, with one small rule: 12hrs prior to flying, no drinking allowed. So enjoy yourselves! Just remember, they only guarentee 10 hours of duty rest . . . so all you guys senior to me, go out and have a blast!

The Drug/alcohol testing folks are DIRECTLY across the hall from the indoc room in Easton!!!! What ever you do, don't hang out in front of the office!!!

David

A couple of weeks ago at recurrent the drug/alchohol lady came in to speak to us and she admitted that company will only test you at a gateway. Could be the first day on or any day in between. All the testing centers are 9 to 5, some 7 days a week, and the one in Vegas is 24 hours, ouch!

There have been many posts referring to the new classes of new-hires at Netjets starting May 17th.

The company just published a new seniority list dated May 19th. The last new hires they show were 6/16/03.

What gives?

I started on the 17th and though I do have a number, I don't know what it is yet. The next class does not start until next week or later so I assume that the particular seniority list you have was simply put together and approved before we came on board, it was just published on the 19th. If I am not on the next one then I will raise a stink, but right now I will just concentrate on getting though class.
There are 10 of us in class, 4 Excels and 6 Ultras..... 6 EJM guys and four of us that have been waiting for over a year to be brought on (2 military, 1 Southwest and me..Comair).
Good luck to everyone trying to get on, we will all know more after next week as to our future:)

Thanks to everyone who has stopped by class(which has been a lot of folks) to say hi and congrats!!

does it help to have a excel type? Who do I need to send a resume to. IS it on the internet? Thanks.

P.M. me with the info..

oh ya...what is starting pay......in the excel

starting pay is the same regardless of a/c type......it sucks. But on a serious note, i think f/o pay is 26k or so and cpt is 36k. Dont quote me on that, cant rememeber.

NJA PAY...

First year NJA Fo pay is $2259 per month
First year NJA Cpt pay is $3130 per month

if you want the "Flex Sched" then;
FO is $2697/mo
Cpt is $4005/mo

Flex sched is working 2 more days a month than regular sched..... but your on standby a lot ...

and thats why were getting a 100% pay raise when this contract is done !! :D

Jato + 9 Geez, glad to see someone finally giving me a little cushion on the seniority list. Welcome dudes and dudettes...

Had to, but his airplane got hosed down by the fire guys the last time he pulled up to the gate.

I know this is passing into the wind, but just look at how irrelavent the last five messages in this thread are to the original topic. Really (empahasis REALLY) makes following these boards difficult. Then again, no actual flight time here...

Excel, Ultra, BBJ...who cares?
