anyone who interviewed last week hear anything or are you expecting to hear early this week?

Interviewed on December 9th and 10th, haven't heard anything yet, but don't have a very good feeling about it. We'll see...

about 5 weeks for me to wait from the time I sent in the resume.....had a internal also, I think most did in my interview group....age ranges from 24-60, zero pic to thousands....

I got my app 2 weeks after applying, had a few internal recs. Got my interview invite a month and a half later. I just sent in an updated passport to Derinda. She said she will check on my file. They haven't got all applicants through the hiring board yet.

Goood luck to all.

thanks!

My app was accepted on October 26, roughly two weeks after I sent my package in. Got the invite to interview December 28, interviewed January 8-10th. Still waiting in agony right now, but I'm glad to hear that nobody else here has heard anything yet. Maybe there's hope for me yet!

I hope I can change my screen name soon :-)

because I will be DONE lookin if I get the job!

what time of the day did those that get the offer get called?

If I had been waiting over a month for a reply (post-interview) from NJA, I would send a real polite email to Derinda reminding her how hopeful I was to begin working at NJA and asking her when you could expect to hear on their decision.

Good luck to all waiting...I know the suspense is rough! NJA is a good place and worth the wait!.

I agree with fly26

State you interview date and how you can not wait to start working at NetJets

There are a few things that can hold up the official call of "You Are Hired".
I was hired just over 6 1/2yrs ago. It was a few weeks after the interview and I still had not heared anything, so I made a call to the ones in pilot hiring, there was another one there, she has since moved on, thats another story.

Anyways they where still waiting on some of the items with one of my former emloyers to get back with them. within a few minutes of talking with them about it I was giving the official invite, when can you start and which class dates will suit you best.
So Don't sweat it and send a nice email.
Hope to see you all here.
Take Care.

what kind of stuff has to be received from former employers before they can give you an offer? do they just verify dates of employment?

I was told by Linda before we left FlightSafety. That was 3 years ago.

Somebody talked to Derinda, heard packets should be back by tomorrow (Wednesday) at noon.

Good luck everybody!

Any of you guys/gals who recently interviewed please take a couple of minutes and post any new gouge at aviationinterviews.com.

I have heard that there have been some changes? Anything major?

Thanks. I have my shot next week.

I think this is slowly driving me insane.

I heard from someone who would truly be in the know on the interview process that the changes that are being seen right now are just a portion of what is planned. There are some fairly major changes coming. But if you prepare well, these aren't changes that should be unreasonable.

Good luck to all.

If you don't get the call, how do they inform you that you didn't get the job? Email? Regular mail? Thanks!:(

They let you HANG! Get it? Your Avitar. Get it? AH Forget It!

You will get a "thanks but no thanks" about the same time everyone else from your interview cession hears.

When I was offered the job I got an acceptance email and then a welcome phone call with a "which airplane and base do you want?"

That was a year and a half ago so things may have changed.

The interview will be a 3 day process instead of 2. Not harder, just more time needed to find out if you are what they are looking for. Just prepare as normal and you'll do fine.

Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that you would get a rejection notice.

Good luck.:)

I believe the industry has adopted an unofficial policy of "phone call good", letter bad".

Don't worry... Linda will leave a message.
