Current a/c is C-207 and PA-32. Trying to get into local 135 that has Lears, Cit X, Challengers and the like.

Baja.

Thanks for the response, Baja. I hope you can get some time at the charter outfit and also come back to NJA in the summertime.

Well guys, Derinda says that guys interviewing today will be waiting for class dates in April. Ten of uss interviewed today, 2 military, a couple of us from the 121 world (of course I have a mil/121/135 background). The HR gouge is right on, the sim is like trying to fly a frickin' squirrel but all they are looking for is basic intrument skills and improvement as you go along. As always I thought I did ok but there are always thingsd that could be improved. Keeping my fingers crossed till Friday or Monday. Waiting for the call!

No doubt eh??

Good luck to inthewind and the rest of his interview group!

My class was told the same thing about filling classes in April. One of the guys start on monday in the Falcon....So much for April. Be prepared to go quick if that's what you want.

Baja.

Good luck! Thank's for the advice about staying away from your lears and when (not if!) you get the call I'll buy you the first drink.

inthewind,
I didn't think the sim was all that tough, just like a frasca, your profile has viper in it, what the heck is flying an F16 like, easier than a frickin' squirrel?:)

Good luck.

Yeah the mighty viper pretty much flew itself with all that fly-by-wire stuff. I didn't say that the sim couldn't be flown, just a bit more difficult that the Lear sim, ok?

Thanks , fish I'll look you up. Hopefully soon.

PS. Love the avatar!

Baja,
Sorry to hear about the denial, but I have been in your shoes at NetJets. A year ago I too got the "thanks but no thanks" call due to the sim. Had a partner whos idea of CRM was a grunt...single pilot night cargo.
I applied 6 months later to the day, redid the sim (thats the only part I had to redo) and was told that day that I would be in class in 2 weeks.
Prior to the resim I went and found a frasca and spent 2 hours in it doing raw data stuff....hard to get used to round dials when you have been flying glass.

Keep the faith.
