I understand. I guess I can rephrase the question...Does anyone who is not employed by NetJets have a copy of the mountain operations requirements?

I don't think its stupid, someone can pick it up and start a company.

It is a little silly. In this case, its a safety item and really does not need to be controlled.

Someone may want to start a new company policy and wants to use NJA/EJM mountain ops as a model. If it keeps someone from splattering on the rocks, I think they should have access.

On the other hand, someone may want in order to advertise they will do something NJA/EJM won't. If they are willing to risk the mountains to make a dollar, fine. Probably don't want that kind of business anyway.

Unfortunatly it is not my decision, and they are controlled documents.
 
It's actually not a big deal...Sentient gives out the info if you are flying a trip for them. You couldn't start a company with it. It's simply higher than standard takeoff/landing requirements for mountainous airports.

NJA has an army of people who think this kind of stuff out. From a safety and public education standpoint it would be nice to give out what we do in mountain ops.

Based on your previous quote, AMEs should test for delusional thoughts of grandeur.
Besides, you'd love to have me in the right seat, especially after hours in the hotel bar. I'd be the one keeping you from getting your A$$ kicked by the local chumbas at the PBI Hilton.

It could be a matter of economics. If a company spent alot of money for development and approval, why give that information for free?
