NetJets - April interviewees Part 2

Ok after 12 pages the last thread was starting to go off topic. Please use another thread if you have questions about the interview process (ie. the phone interview, how long from application....) or want to bash eachother.

Let me recap what I got off the last thread.

1. Many of us who received the email from Derinda stating that an offer will be coming are still waiting. It seems like April 22 was the point where people are still waiting from.

2. Derinda has been replaced.

3. Kelly called several of us two weeks ago saying that we should hear something within two weeks. I emailed her yesterday and haven't heard back from her yet.

4. A few have started indoc that interviewed in May.

5. Rachel is running the show now.


What I'm trying to find out is.....
Did the April folks get the short end of the stick with a regime change?
What happened with Derinda?
What does the July indoc class look like? Is it full of April folks? If not are they from May or even June?
Any info on the Aug 18th class?
Has hiring slowed? For example June had about 32 in it. Is the July/August group smaller?

I interviewed April 22nd and I have not received anything official from NetJets. After e-mailing Derinda in June I got an unofficial thumbs up. I can also report that one person I interviewed with is in the July 21 class.

I did not receive a call the first week of July however, I e-mailed this week and was told to be patient that news would be coming as soon as possible. I think there are several people in the same boat.? Standing by and hoping for GREAT news soon!!!
 
I interviewd May 22nd got an e-mail from Derinda, unofficial thumbs up also. No word since then.

I do know of couple guys starting class next monday, one who interviewed a month before me and one that interviewed same day as me, no clue as to how they select who to call and when.
 
So it sounds like 1 from the week of April 22-24, has started and a couple more from May.

Anyone on the inside have any idea what's going on?

Did they decide to write us off since we interviewed under Derinda?

Like I said earlier I received an e-mail this week asking for my patience and that they had not forgotten about me. NetJets has not written us off they are very busy and some things need to settle down before we get called. I'm just as anxious to get on as anyone else but, I know that the wait will be well worth it. Can't wait to get the official call to come to class.
 
Same here guys I interviewed on the 22nd of April and received the unofficial email from Derinda in June. Still waiting for the official call hopefully it comes sooner than later.
 
The 2 weeks are just about up for those of us that got the call on July 3rd. Hopefully they got the training situation straightened out and class date calls go out tommorow. It's been almost 3 months. I can't feel my legs! Now where did I put that extra can of patience?
 
Actually my two weeks from my phone call came and went today. I was called on July 2nd, so I was hoping to hear something today. I know they are pretty backed up over there... so I'll be patient.
 
I am personally aware of an applicant who submitted an application and was invited to a phone interview not more than a month later.

Remember, you are competing with other pilots in your peer group.

This guy is career corporate with Sabre experience.

Military, Frax, Airline are also other peer groups.
 
I interviewed April 22. Got the unofficial e-mail in June. Got a call on June 30 with an official offer and indoc date of July 21. However, I received another job offer later the same day, and had to call and turn down the indoc class (yes, GASP!...but it is a dream job). Good luck to all those waiting.
 
Just received an email this morning from NJ pilot recruitment telling me that I'd be contacted with further information on the week of July 21st, and welcoming me to NetJets... I did not send them an email first, so this was not in reply to one I sent them.
I interviewed in May.

Congrats and welcome. This should help squelch those that have said NJA has stopped hiring.

Now the hard part begins. Wondering which aircraft they will offer you and which of the 100 bases to pick this month. :pimp:

I'd be happy to drink a Pepsi. I'm not a big drinker, the name is in reference to a song by Die Toten Hosen (Ein kleine Jegermeister).

That email was a big relief. I was really starting to question if this door of opportunity was still open for me.
 
I got a different e-mail stating that they are reviewing my application and that I would receive and update in the coming weeks. I guess that means that I didn't get the thumbs up after all and I'm still waiting for an answer. Anyone else get an e-mail like this one?

I interviewed at the end of April and I just got an email from them saying they are still evaluating my qualifications and the qualifications of the people that they are interviewing currently. They hope to provide me with more information in the coming weeks.

I do not know if this is a good thing or a bad thing. I guess it is good considering I have not heard anything since my interview that is official but bad considering since I have not heard anything that I had the job.

I just do not get it!!!

I got the same email and I certainly don't interpret it as anything but a bad thing. How do you go from; "we will be extending you an offer" to; "we are evaluating your qualifications?" Very disappointing!! The way they have handled applicants the last few months has been extremely unproffessional. I hope, for the sake of those applying now that they get their act together because this is totally unacceptable for a company that proffesses to be the most professional in the business.

I got the exact same email, and felix took the words right out of my mouth. I'm starting to have some serious concerns about how we've been treated.

We're being treated like typical airline passengers (except mine, of course)...kept in the dark, and being fed sh!t.

If I didn't get the job, just tell me...you won't hurt my feelings, and I'll go on with my life or reapply. But, for the love of God, tell us something. It's been about 3 months for some.

Is this how the owners are treated?

I got the same e-mail a few hours ago.

Although it does not say its an offer, I am glad to see some communication.

I guess I am still in the running. Interviewed May 21.
 
I really hope a "thank you but no thank you" letter don't go out to those who got the Not so good email today. It is wrong to let someone believe they got hired for 3 month and send out a no thank you letter. I think Derinda being replace has alot to do with this. Seems like they did a second interview board review on those interviewees who got the unoffcial email from Derinda, and decided to only extend an offer to a few. Maybe that is why it took so long. This is just my guess.
