I've got more than 12,000 hours now. Heavy Intn'l Exp., Ton's of PIC time, Three Recommendations on File and still no call?

What gives?

First of all, do you have any idea what "JMHO" means? Since the tone of your post doesn't portend that you do, I'll give you a clue. The "H" stands for "humble."

Second of all, did you find an unseemly flavor added to your cheerios this morning? Perhaps a little salty flavor?

:)

What does portend mean?

To serve as an omen or a warning of; presage: black clouds that portend a storm.

or

To indicate by prediction; forecast: leading economic indicators that portend a recession.

To give a sign of, to indicate, to signify... something along those lines...

Lots of on-line dictionaries out there. Merriam-Webster has a tool-bar add-on that allows you to right-click a word and look it up in a flash. Try m-w.com

Touche.

What does touche mean again?

Every time I am sarcastic, I am reminded that no one gets it any more. Oh well.

I was serious about not knowing what a FLAP was, though.

Touchy.

Maybe they have flightinfo spies whose job it is is to see who's badmouthing the A380, the future lift monster of the company.
