Actually not. In my case, I even refused to apply to Comair until after they dropped the PFT. It cost me quite a bit of seniority but I refused to compromise my principals. As such, I would do something else before I would ever work for Mesa as I refuse to contribute to the degradation of the industry.
The regional industry is built on naive 23 year olds with a stack of resumes in their hand just hoping for a call. At 23 I was one of them unfortunately! I applied at Mesa, among others, and Comair called, go figure! Many of the "haters" on this board are part of that crowd. Just read their post, it's easy to see! I see alot of irony in your perspective. You refused to apply at Comair until they dropped PFT, however you reaped the benefit of a career built on the backs of pilots willing to pay for a job. How are your principles that much different than a Mesa pilot's?
