Actually not. In my case, I even refused to apply to Comair until after they dropped the PFT. It cost me quite a bit of seniority but I refused to compromise my principals. As such, I would do something else before I would ever work for Mesa as I refuse to contribute to the degradation of the industry.

The regional industry is built on naive 23 year olds with a stack of resumes in their hand just hoping for a call. At 23 I was one of them unfortunately! I applied at Mesa, among others, and Comair called, go figure! Many of the "haters" on this board are part of that crowd. Just read their post, it's easy to see! I see alot of irony in your perspective. You refused to apply at Comair until they dropped PFT, however you reaped the benefit of a career built on the backs of pilots willing to pay for a job. How are your principles that much different than a Mesa pilot's?

The Mesa-Sucks crowd bases it's bias on a simple list of negative vs. positive. The number of negative aspects vs. positive aspects is overwhelming. That's how sane, common sense people come to their conclusions. And the conclusion on Mesa is: it is a bottom feeder that has, for years, done major damage to the regional airline industry in a variety of ways. There are many facts to back up the Mesa Sucks montra. If you do a search, it won't take long to come to the only sensible conclusion many already know. MESA is a BAD, BAD Place.
End of story.

Another cut and paste from the many thousands of posts about Mesa on this forum..Sad that is the extent of your aviation knowledge and vocabulary.

Guy's, It's not worth even responding to SEVEN. Unfortunately many of his arguments against Mesa can be turned around to even his own airline.

Mesa pilots, even though we have many harsh feelings against your management we all feel bad for what's happening to your jobs. Hang in there.

Great idea. NOT. Maybe you could explain who will fly the passengers from Iron Mountain MI to DTW or MSP. Good luck trying to get a 757 in there. Those guys can't even land on the runway let alone a short runway. Are you familiar with the term "hub and spoke" system? It's the way the ariline industry is set up. If you "cut" the puppet strings, there will be no one to bring the passengers from the smaller cities to the hubs for the real pilots to take them to their destination. So, your proposed solution would collapse the entire industry.

Sounds like it made you nervous ..You worried about losing your job?..You should be nervous because you could be next one on the unemployment line.

I agree that Mesa is not anywhere I would want to work, I'm glad they never called me. My point is many of those throwing stones do so from a glass house.
