Mesaba Stations Best In DCI

I agree that the Mesaba agent dropped the ball and could have done more in the way of assistance. Telling XE dispatch that "she has to go" was a bonehead move. She should have called the station manager and gotten them involved. She sounded like she didn't want to take responsiblity for the Continental passengers, probably due to the fact she didn't want to get in trouble with the TSA.
So it seems as if there were several Delta(NWA) diverts sitting out there as well. They obviously were dealing with those aircraft and their passengers while all this is going on, otherwise we would have heard the same thing coming from the Delta passengers about sitting out on the ramp for hours on end.
Everyone involved in this fiasco has culpability in it from the Mesaba agent all the way up to Continental.
