Did you even bother to read what I wrote?Thank you father, I mean Dad. Look beyond your rose colored glasses you wear. Remember those 6-9 year FOs you worked with at XJ? Well, most of them are FINALLY captains. You know what that means? That means we're all starting to build our PIC time to be able to advance our careers.
If you were a CA when you left XJ, good for you. You had the good fortune of riding the good times wave at XJ and had the ability to move on. Not all of us were as fortunate. That being said, just because we're at XJ at this time, does't mean we're all planning on making XJ a career. It means it's a good place to remain until we're able to move on. For many giving up 6-9 years of FO seniority only to make a lateral move to another regional was rediculous. Again, not all of us were as fortunate to be able to move on to Southwest, Fedex or Delta.
Oh, and by the way... not everyone WANTS to work for NetJets.
Thanks again for all your advice... We've all been to h.ell and back with XJ. We get it. You can look back and see how awful it was. Throw us a bone and give those of us, your former fellow XJers the respect we deserve for making the decisions that best meet OUR needs in life. Not yours. I hope the hatred you have is for our mgmt and not us. If so, don't be hatin'!

I have nothing but respect for the pilots. I still have friends there that are trying to move on during this next wave. If anything I am trying to wale up those that are too afraid to look beyond XJ. I was one of them. I finally had enough and now that I am out, I wished I did it five years ago. NJ is hiring a lot of XJ guys not just captains but FOs to. For me it looks like it will be my final stop in my career. I know it is not for all. I interviewed at four other airlines about the same time. I was turned down by two and hired at two others. I had the fortune to choose between three jobs. Total luck, but it can be done.
Even if you think you can't get those apps out. Take the time to do it. PM me if you want to know about NJ I will give you all I can from my limited experience.
Good Luck.
