As for the POS contract, it was either sign it or lose our jobs to Freedom, so some MAPD moron can upgrade in like a week. Then when freedom was done taking all of the mesa jobs it would have taken everyone elses. So thank the mesa guys for keeping freedom from taking everyones jobs.

Did the pilots not sighn the contract?
How are things over at MESA Cloudroller?

RCA - I dont work their anymore. But I will say the upgrade is less than 2 years. What is it over at Comair? Its loosers like you that make other Comair pilots look stupid. I have said it before and i am telling you. As a mesa pilot when you guys were on strike, i helped support your strike fund. Grow up

Ya bro I'd like to see some MAPD guy make captain with 300hrs...

Some guys did go from MAPD, then again, some guys had kids to feed...(not sayin anything about those guys, just sayin)

OK, I'll give you a shot at shutting it. Send an email to [email protected] and let me know where you want to meet.

Phoenix sounds like a good place...I know you'll be on reserve there for a long time....

I'm sure you know all about rashes. This thread is like your love life...you've put your johnson in something where it doesn't belong.[/quot

Very nice.....take you long to think that up?

What is this, grade school?

Nananananana, my regional is better than your regional!

Truth is all regionals suck, and we, if we know what's going on, we all will be leaving them as soon as we can!

So who cares if you make a little more money over here or over there, it's all a temporary setback in the race to get on somewhere else.

Compare any regional to any major, even any LCC, and you'll understand what this is all about. It's about not staying at a regional any longer than necessary.

If you have a little better life at your regional, well so what? If you want to present a "better than" argument, present me with the facts about how many pilots from said regional have moved on to the good life.

If your percentage is higher than our precentage, than yeah, maybe your regional is better!

Hey cloudroller,
Im sure all the Comair guys would have supported your stike fund as well. If you guys did strike, anyone that went to Freedom would have been a scab. No?
Im sure some Mesa dude is going to pipe in on why it wasnt that easy.

Problem is we can't leave as soon as we can. If people keep flying 70-100 seat Jets for BS wages. Well then they will simply replace mainline flying with these jets, thus making it harder to get to higher paying job!!!!

Fine... but still the fact you are lingering at a regional probably has a lot more to do with larger factors like the current economy, the managment of legacies, the political climate, the scope laid out by ALPA, and things of this nature and less to with what type of planes Mesa flys.

More to the point, the pilots at Mesa are not responsible for your lingering at a regional longer than you want to.

Why don't you try blaming the manufactures of these new 70-100 seat jets? Maybe that will make you feel better?

In case you know NOTHING about the aviation industry, there will ALWAYS be an inexhaustible supply of pilots willing to do more for less... Wishing it weren't so or cursing it will not make it any different.

So please stop attacking the bottom feeder, if it is currently Mesa, well, time will pass, and contracts will change, and eventually it WILL be your regional that is the bottom feeder... Again, study your airline history...

big deal so they would have been called scabs.. what do you actually think the empty threat of being called a scab would have stopped the line of 300 hour wonders waiting at the door to fly a new 90 seat jet.. if we would have struck (which would have taken years before we would have actually been released by mediation) the flying would have continued to be transferred to freedom as mesa was shrunk into nothing.

I feel for the Transtates people going thru they exact same thing with hojets. they will be force sign a substandard contact in order to keep their jobs and continue to feed their families or face furlough as the tsa flying is transferred. each pilot has to make that decision. when it comes down to feeding their family or being somekind of hero to the industry most everyone here would choose family. no one has the right to fault them for that because my or your family is no more or less important then theirs.

alpa need to get off it's collective a@@ and bring the all pilot groups together.

Your Joking Right? Please tell me you didn't Type that! And you wonder why its a race to the bottom with thinking like that!

And I think you know who they are! Hmmm, Dash 8 Fo making more money then CRJ 900 Fo! Hmmm, you know who they are I believe!

My point is just, DON'T BLAME THE PILOTS AT MESA FOR WHAT MESA IS.

It's not the pilots fault. We don't make the decisions and we do not have much power to change anything, especially with the ineffectiveness of ALPA, and at least until the next contract comes into effect...

So place blame where blame is do, on decision makers and situation creators, not on the innocent powerless participants.

And, uhm, I have no idea what you are saying here... Who are "they"?? Why should a Dash 8 FO make more than a CRJ FO?? Isn't this an industry where pay is tied to pax seats?
