Mesa's 900's have too many seats for Mesa to be merged with either ASA or Skyw. DALPA's contact restricts connection carriers to no more than 76 seats, so if acquired Mesa would have to remain a separate entity. No merger or integration.

I think it's quite easy to remove seats to bring it to 76.

It's only 76 seats if they're flown for DAL. UAL scope is 70. LCC is more.

Ya, it's just that simple, unless your contract stipulates that your customer wants 86 seats. You could renegotiate the contract, but if Airways wanted a different configuration they would have specified it. Pull 10 seats out just so you can make a few pilots happy? Keep waiting for that.

The DAL scope covers all the aircraft operated by a connection carrier, regardless of who they are operated for. That is why when ACA ordered Airbuses Delta canceled their Dojet contract.

Correct. And that's why Mesa (which sucks by the way) needed the Freedom certificate to fly for Delta.

These death to Mesa posts are kind of disturbing, think of the families, they're just the same as any of you that are flying for the other crappy regionals.

except they are flying for the crappiest.....that's all

What's with all the name dropping? Do you think we're impressed with you or something?

All of the names you've dropped could easily be looked up in a 2 second google search, so quit trying to act like some kind of a big shot.

not a big shot.......just know a lot more than you think about the SKW and their student council

adios
