Jetblue Apps

Maxjet guys and gals..

Jetblue in the past has made it a point to help pilot groups in need.. We held employment sessions exclusively for independence pilots. and recently have hired many comair pilots as well. Please go online and fill out your apps and I am sure you will get called for an interview.

Remember a bad day today can be a blessing is disguise a few years down the road.. Keep your head up spend some much needed time with your families.

Update those apps.. and have a happy holiday

Not with age 65 and jetblue hurting...what are you thinking...looks like Lufthansa has an interest in you too...hmm
 
All you Maxjet guys, I'm sorry to hear that. I know this is not the news you wanted to get on Christmas eve. On a positive note though, the market is good and I feel confident you will all get picked up soon. Best wishes.
 
Why don't you just shut your piehole yuppyguppy. Last time I checked UAL was no paragon for aviation employment and with tools like you over there I wouldn't be in a hurry to submit my app to Denver, unless it was with F9.

Dont listen to that dou$chebag folks.. In some sick way he obviously gets some pleasure out of your misfortune.

JB is planning to hire 300 folks in 08 and is positioned as well or better than nearly any other airline out there to ride out the so called doom and gloom forecast for 08.

The secrets are already getting out that Lufthansa wants a significant feed into the USA, Latin, Central, and south america with open skies. LH didnt invest 300 mil in jb for nothing with our premium product and most fuel efficient fleet in the usa.

Age 65 basically has minimal affect our your career progression here as we have only about 100-125 pilots total over 50 years old.

If I find any info regarding an open house in MCO I will post it for you. Happy Holidays

Problem is the Jetblue pilots have no say in how the LH feed will go down. A big concern: LH will do the int'l flying via LH or a new company that LH controls and JB will feed.

Next, KLM/AF will say...'look... within the Skyteam Alliance, KLM/AF will do all of the transoceanic flying... DL/NW/CAL.. you guys do all the feed.' When the DL/NW/CAL pilots protest... the reply will be.... 'well... the JB pilots do it.... we got to compete...'

Maybe the JB pilots don't care about widebody transoceanic flying....

Time to get your career representation going guys... I'd say now is too late... if you wait then you'll really be screwed...

The international flying is were the cash is... a pure domestic operation will stagnate...

Back to the topic of this thread--sorry Maxjet employees. Merry Xmas and may the New Year bring you many new opportunities.

Its amazing how quickly one or two dou$%ebags can hijack and entire thread and make it into jb's doom or union sabre rattling. Pathetic losers

Riiiiight. Because Lufthansa doesn't already have those feed opportunities with the other Star Alliance partners UAL and Airways. They may be able to use JB feed but when they do, JB will probably be part of another airline. I do wish you guys luck though. We all need it. Same with the MaxJet guys and hope you all get hired somewhere else quickly.

What a great Christmas Present! Management...bet they had a nice time at home. Anyway, best of luck to all the MaxJet guys. I rode on them a few times, what a great bunch of people. Good luck to all, and a better new year around the corner.
 
Sorry to all the great people at Maxjet. I knew a few that were at Indy and went there. I hope the pattern will break for your next venture. But, please stay away from Jet Blue if you do not want to go down this road again. Just a thought. If they can even get through this winter, let people off the plane in less than hmmmm, 10 hours, and start taking German lessons...you might be ok. They will go away someday as did FlyI, and Skybus did...oppps...did I say that too soon. No airline is really worth it these days. (UPS and FedEx are not airlines) Even Southwest is sweating. (USA Today, last paper). If they do not pick up business travel fast they will be losing money for the first time in 34 years. But, they are an awesome airline and should be praised for the endurance they have showed!

Hope you guys find stability in the new year!
