In my somewhat limited understanding of aviation and the world is that without a union there is generally no such thing as seniority, there are times when companies pretend it exists when it suits the company. I am sorry for the guys whose lives have been temporarily turned upside down but in the end most will wind up better off. The bottom line is without a union none of this should be a suprise, in fact it should be expected. Pilots, myself included can look at a metar and a taf and know what the ride will be like, why can't we look at a company and know what the ride will be like. Good luck to all the guys and hope you all wind up better off.

No all I have to do is sweet talk her into bed, not pay like most you guys do in Korea and Shenzen.

just saw this in the local business press

judgment granted in favor of plaintiff;

Gulf Aircraft Maint v Tradewinds Airlines Inc
$284,283.00 case# CVS 12543
1/11/07

any info on what it was for?

Don't know, but I imagine there are a lot of lawsuits against the airline. Rumors are that they are in financial trouble and for even employees, they routinely underpay, don't pay overtime, don't pay expense checks, etc.
