Wow.

So how you doing CSY?

Is this a rather large bump in the road, or...

Just waiting on Indoc Jan 9th, grnd Jan 29th.

Meanwhile, studying liquor ads, practicing controlled consumption, and contemplating an attempt at obtaining guitar wisdom and some "nominal" ability... Didn't work 30 yrs ago, maybe this time.

We knew the Airbus furloughs were comming since a few of them are being parked and possibly sold, so no surprise there.

As far as the 747 goes, we hear that the furlough should be short term...maybe as much as 90 days. We supposedly have a new contatct starting in March as hopefully recapturing another contract.

Supposedly a few select guys from the airbus are going to be allowed to trainstion over to the 747.

Hopefully no more off the street Capts either.

Still here, no changes....

How is the Lear gig?

Is this a rather large bump in the road, or...

Well, a medium bump. Lost a contract, some jets in for check, uh, no changes...

Short term planned, but most guys will go to better pastures so hireing may be-a-coming up in March or so.

Yeah, but no 747 guys needed right now.

Hopefully no more off the street Capts either.

Well, that depends on the experience and quality of the F/Os on the property.
The compnay, and the check-airmen would like to see internal upgrades, but we have quite a few ding-dongs in the right seat that are not up-gradeable.
The few that are material may not have the time to satisfy the Fed.
Some of those with plenty of time are life-time F/O/s.

Is that Embry Riddle chick still there?

Marty

Hey CSY,

How many 747's is Tradewinds operating these days? I heard that you guys picked up one of our old GE classics. Did they park all the Airbus aircraft also?

We got a chick on the bus, not sure where she went to school.

Well, we are operating 3 whales, but 2 are in for mx-check right now.

Yeah, we got an ex-Atlas classic last year, nice plane.
Don't think they parked all the bus birds, some are flying.

MCDU,

Now you jusy leave her alone. She's had a special dream and has just worked harder than you and me and the rest of us to achieve it.

I read about her in some magazine. She was a A300 Capt and she just got to 3000hrs. Not bad. She is prob. at FED EX or UPS.

You've got serious issues. Don't you have a job? Why are you worried about it?
