How come no one commented on this? What big shot "Senior 767 International FO With 5000 People Below Him" would have the Delta Desktop app? What pilot would care unless he was buying tickets? Commuters use Travelnet. I don't know ANY pilots who sit on their computer all day looking up random cities. Traverse City? Really? Unless someone commutes from there, why would you pull that out of thousands of destinations? More proof that General Lee is a troll, not a pilot. I guarantee he's a dam diamond medallion who thinks he knows all and is pretending to be a pilot. I just love how his new shtick is to lecture everyone about "contributing". When did this broken record troll who 90% of his posts have been taunting the regional pilots that they're going to lose their jobs over and over become the arbiter of what's a "contribution" TO AN ANONYMOUS WEB BOARD!His only real "contribution" is the comic relief he brings to the majors board with the other 10% of his posts that the real pilots laugh him off the thread over. Now for my "real" contribution, I have no idea about TVC, and don't care, but if you look at the ATL system, -88s are going to all the old ASA cities. Several times a day. and in case you haven't noticed, we're parking them at concourse C. any of you who still think you may have a long term career at ASA or any other regional better wake up if you're more than 5 years from retirement. The writing is on the wall. As much as I dislike GL, he is right in that the regionals will continue to shrink. Anyone can see that, his painfully obvious broken record posts notwithstanding. 5 years from now every regional will be half its size and senior captains, (10-20 yr) will be going back to the right seat. Get out while you can. My worst day at Delta is still better than my best day there.
Uhhhh, I enjoy the industry and I know where to find info. I can't be a pilot AND enjoy FI? You are making fun of someone who knows actual facts? You are completely NUTS and jealous. The MD88 flying has picked up some ex-DCI flying, like GPT, FAY, and LEX, but not as much as the 717 and A319. Look at those bid packets or PBS bid awards, you will see ILM, TRI, AVL, ROA, MYR (MYR actually going to the 73N next month).
I enjoy reading about the industry, and the TVC example just backed up my opinion on mainline replacing RJs, which is a good thing. Sounds like you don't care about plenty, and you call me a troll when I come up with specific FACTS like the TVC example. Fact is, you can't come up with squat, and resort to name calling to make up for your lack of knowledge. Yeah, that fits your profile nicely. Atleast my "broken record" is factual and something you obviously can't debate.
As far as "Contributing" something of substance to a debate, you lack plenty. Giving an opinion and not slamming can help some people. If you disagree, then why don't you offer opposing views? The reason is you can't. I am correct. A real troll can't offer anything, and that again fits your profile more than mine. I give my opinion on this Regional board and "tell it like it is." Some may not like that, but I also give advice on what to do next. Again, opposing viewpoints are welcomed, but slams just show ignorance. (That's you Box)
Oh, the guys who "laugh" at my posts on the other FI boards can't refute what I post, and that is a natural reaction, like the one you have. It's a defense mechanism within your head. If you can't compete, you slam and flee. I don't come on here to find friends on an "anonymous" board, I give opinions and give advice to anonymous people. Those guys can "laugh" all they want, I enjoy FI regardless. Bye!
