Yet another of GL's alter egos. The biggest sign of his mental illness of all. I've counted at least 5.

Classic. Anyone who agrees with me or disagrees with you MUST BE ME. You truly aren't smart, which is backed by fact here. Thanks!

Not true..I only give flack to those who do the same for others..listen junior, your pathetic slamming of others started long before I started pointing you out. You are a freaking baby, plain and simple. You don't gain the reputation that you have by being a model forum user. Difference between you and me is I don't give a rats ass what others think of me, or what my purpose or contribution is to this board. If the moderators want to ban me, so be it. Then they can continue with a lot of other folks, including you. So be careful what you wish for skipper..

I don't care about reputation, I give opinions based on this industry, old man. I come here to talk about the WHOLE industry. You can't provide squat because you lack knowledge. You know I know more than you do, and you respond like a bully. I personally don't care, but the whole point of this board old timer is to discuss aviation industry issues. Some people, like yourself and box, don't like my opinions, but never back up responses. That is called ignorance. Some of the things I point out aren't popular, but I give it like it is, always open to debate, which you guys aren't mentally able to do. That is followed by anger and slams. I love the part where you and Box claim somehow that I'm not a pilot. Hello! This is an anonymous board. Nobody really knows if anyone is, including you. But the issues about the industry are out there, and you and Box add nothing. Listen old man, just add an opinion and don't get disgruntled if I offer a different viewpoint, and feel free to add another if you wish. That's how this works. A reputation works if the identity is known, not on an anonymous board. This board is about the aviation industry, and you haven't contributed anything at all but petty slams.

Sounds like an admission of guilt to me. GL is not a pilot. Time for everyone to just add him to the ignore list. Fraud exposed.

This entire site has become pathetic, shame because it use to be informative and enjoyable.

You keep bringing up over and over the fact that this is an anonymous board. Stop incriminating yourself fool, you keep showing that indeed Box and myself are completely right.

Yes it sure has. Even the mods know this to be true, thus they don't even bother to ban people anymore. One thing I do give Genital for, is being allowed to run off people at a large rate. The FI ship is sinking and everyone knows. I choose to go down with the ship and instead of bailing the water, I will continue to assist in its demise.

You nimrods have ruined what was meant to be a thought provoking thread about the state and future of the industry. Believe it or not, we as pilots have an insight that gives validity to our opinions, but your loosers! (-;

Ahahahaha! How does anyone know you're a pilot? And, you seem paranoid. How many other names do I supposedly have on here according to you? How did you pass the MMPI test at the psych? One of those questions was "I think people are following me...." See, you wouldn't have passed that test or the psych. Nope.

I honestly try to participate, but some on here don't want to.

The majors are going to whipsaw, browbeat, threaten, whatever it takes to get their regional services supplied cheaply...large unionised regionals are mama major's worst enemy, and like Comair...will die off...and as long as the regional players are happy to low ball bids and undercut each other at every turn, the majors will keep on smiling, and the "proper" regional airlines will disappear, leaving the bottom feeders to fight over the flying...and while you hide behind your skirts bitching about the General....you might have a closer look at what he's saying...

Yeah, and 15,000 positions at the legacies... Nothing new added by your post except maybe the skirt remark. Maybe you can go find something new to add then come back.

Forgot those sweet 88 717's Delta is getting as well!!

From a Businessweek article out today, entitled:
"With Pilot Shortage, Regional Airlines Search for Someone to Pay Rising Costs"
By Justin Bachman February 28, 2014

The last two paragraphs:

"Another regional airline, Great Lakes, is pulling 10 seats from its 19-seat Beechcraft turboprops so its pilots can qualify to fly under different federal rules. One of the more interesting tactics is a scheme by Delta to replace regional jets with larger planes, part of a deal it struck in its last pilot contract. Delta acquired 88 Boeing 717s fromSouthwest Airlines, even getting the seller to kick in $100 million for new paint and other refurbishments, which it now deploys on short-to-medium routes such as Huntsville, Ala., and Savannah, Ga.

"The confluence of events suggested to me that [Delta CEO] Richard Anderson was reading the tea leaves," Akins says. "He saw what was coming with the regionals."

Looks like the 88 717s were a smart move....

Didn't read the excerpt from the article, Freebrd? Didn't think so. Looks like others think the 717s were a smart idea, and refutes the naysayers like yourself. You not having a good response makes you the troll.

Hey putz, I'm being sarcastic because you repeat the same thing over and over. We know, we get it Jenny. Unfortunately you allowed more larger RJs at Deltahh when everyone knew the 50 seaters are going bye bye, so looks like to me RA put one over on you, again. Thanks for holding the line putz.
