It supported my view, that the 717s were a smart move.

Yup, genius to purchase a fleet of Yugos. almost as good as buying a clapped put refinery. You are wrong and even if you manage to get the "sky is blue question", its random luck given the volume of garbage that flows from your keyboard.

Have you ever been in one? They are actually quite nice, a better avionics package than the MD88/90, and the price was GREAT. They are leased via SWA until the 2020-2024 range, and the option was given to buy them outright at the end of the leases for the THEN current price ($4-5 million each maybe?). Plus, SWA had to spend $100 million to refurbish them (paint, wifi) and do C-Checks. It was an amazing deal, and it fits a niche that your smaller CR7/9s were trying to fill. There are other examples out there that can be possibly purchased if they come up for sale, currently flying for Blue1 and Volotea in Europe. DL also was authorized by the board to purchase all the MD90s out there, which also was built in limited numbers. RA has been touted by many analysts and recently by the CNBC crew as a genius. But....... You seem to think otherwise.... Oh-Kay..... Thanks for your unsupported opinion...

Also, starting Jan 1st of next year, the 12th year Capt rate on the 717 will be $195 per hour. Not bad, eh? It's the smallest plane at DL too.

Cut and paste, insert here, there, repeat ad nauseam on the Regional board supposedly by a big boy major pilot. More like a lower management troll.

Putz!

Lower management now? Now come on! Quit with the insults! Great day!

Yeah, lower management....lav service shift supervisor midnight shift!

If that is the case, then I'm your Boss. Thanks. You are now assigned every evening shift and holidays. Enjoy, and have a wonderful day!

And the joke of the hour, unless your mom buys you a ticket, you will never see the inside of one that isn't on your computer screens. The bottom line is DAL bought the Yugo of the sky, a "first tier" major airline brought an airframe that is essentially an orphan. Now hows that refinery going again?
3,2,1 more genny cut and paste drivel.
