But in the words of "cool mo dee" HOW YA LIKE ME NOW!!!

Not too much. You guys ("west") still can't manage to get a flight out/in on time (despite having hubs in the nicest weather in the country). Cancellations are a regularity. You still take boarding passes manually at the gate. You rank number one in mis-boards and lost bags. Your in-flight has layover issues/delays (ala 1970).

I think the reason the stock is up is because the share holders...myself included...hope that the 35,000 REAL US Airways employees can overcome the wild west employee mentality of the 7,500 AWA employees and run a successful airline.

That was almost too funny!! The real US Air employees huh?? You must be on furlough with that pi$$y attitude. The rt seat of the 190 awaits your return...

That is the response I expected.

Then your original response must have been your mistaken attempt at humor huh??

Word of advice partner don't start none won't be none!!!

Please, end this thread. This whole my dad can kick your dad's a$$ is doing no one any good. The fact is we WILL ALL have to work with one another SOONER than later. It is not for us to decide who will be senior to who. Someone smarter than ALL of us is making that decision.

Please let this infighting end.

Now I know what my father meant when he said he did not like Unions. I always thought he was misguided in his judgement of Unions since he never had to belong to one in management. Lo and behold, I enter a profession where unions are the lifestay of my career. I thought we were all suppose to be brothers working toward the same goals. As it turns out we are working toward the same goals but we are no where near BROTHERS. That is a sad fact. Good luck to everyone with the outcome of this arbitration. I am truly sorry for the furloughed guys at AAA, and I am truly sorry for the AWA Pilots who will not upgrade this coming year due to the STOP in hiring. The only thing we can really expect at this point is that both sides have a seat when the music stops. Where ever that seat happens to be I guess we should all be thankful to Mr. Parker for aligning the NEW USAIR as a formidable competitor in an industry that takes no prissoners. Good luck to all....When its all said and done just be sure to get along as we are all from the same aviation stock....We love to fly and it Shows. Speaking of having a seat when the music stops reminds me of something. The furloughed AAA guys dont have a seat now and the music is playing....Sorry guys.

Thank you Bubba. Sorry I dissapointed you with Reality. I sincerely hope that you and your family have a great holiday season. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We will definately need you guys at some point in this journey.

Amazing how thin skinned they get when you go back at them, isn't it?
Can be fun to watch how fast you can get them spooled up at times!

I am definitely aware of reality and that reality is you befriend out of one side of you mouth and insult out of the other with your comments of when the music stops.....etc.

Another point of reality is we will have as a minimum $28,800 per year in retirement at age 60 even though we are furloughed, and if the law is changed $43,000 per year at age 65. Another reality check is all the profits are being generated on the east side. The east franchise did have a lot of value after all and no, the west did not save the east! If DP had not come along when he did another astute group of investors would have recognized the value as well and the east side would still be around today and the west side would still be trying to figure out how to managed their diminishing position in the industry.

Hey Bubba take it easy. I am not trying to begrudge you. I am only trying to help you. Please dont take it any other way. We all wish the best for our fellow aviators. The Retirement checks you speak of are great, and I will continue to negotiate for that type pay and better amongst all USAIR Pilots. Best of Luck Brother.

The profits being "generated" from the east side are being created by a "management team" from the west side, something you guys never had since the USAir-Piedmont merger in the late 80's.You very conviently, for the sake of your argument, leave that out of your discussion. Regarding your 28 grand pension check...don't spend it all in one place. A friend of mine who is in the same position as you feels that the PBGC check, like his Soc.Security check, won't be there for him to draw on once it's his turn to collect. Given the debt load being carried by both the PBGC and Social Security he could be right!! :(

Go Easy Phx FLYR, these guys have been through alot. Just like you and me they probably have mouths to feed. Lets try to help them the best we can and embrace them in the new company as we all make money together. OK,,,,I know everyone thinks were too laid back in the West but the bottom line at the end of the day is that we are all truly brothers. Notwithstanding that, I hope each of our newly found brothers appreciate what we have bestowd upon them. Otherwise it will make for a ROUGH ROAD which is exactly what were trying to prevent.
