What is the longest flight segment flown by a 'regional' using..

CRJ 50

EMB-145

CRJ 9/7

EMB-190/170

Den-day crj7

I flew from DFW to JFK the other day on a CR9. I don't remember what the distance is but it was blocked for about 3 hours.

The longest flight on an RJ is American Eagle from XNA to LAX. It's 1371 miles.

IAH to PSP is the second longest at 1269 miles on ExpressJet.

Pinnacle used to do DTW-AUS daily as well as MSP-SAV on occassion... my butt still hurts.

edit: those were CRJ2 legs...each very close to 1000. absolutely rediculous.

regionals shouldn't fly further than 60 minutes from point to point.
But we can thank ALPA for that as well.

ASA used to do ATL/STX 1505 miles. It was blocked at 7:58 and always took 8:15.

SKW used to do KSLC-KPIT on the CRJ9 (1438nm). That was a fun one to figure out on the return flight.

SKW currently operates KORD-CYYC (1200nm) at 3:41 block and KORD-KBOI (1245nm) at 3:37 block.

Pinnacle is doing that route now with the -900. Delta website shows it as 1640 miles.
