Falcon Capt said:My question to ERJ-140 (a.k.a. LegacyIIDriver, LegacyDriver, Legacy390, vraciu, Skull-One, BahgdadBob) if the WSCofD is such a great machine to fly, why are you trying to get on at Southwest???![]()
Was that a pin I heard drop???![]()
Dangerkitty said:Dont worry Falcon. We are going to get some sort of diatribe about how he wanted to get on with Southwest in the past, but since the Legacy is such a great airplane he no longer wants to go there. He will even state that since the Legacy is so great he is now paying his employer to fly it.

DangerKitty said:And for what it is worth I have over 1500 hours in the WSCoD. You might say hey you only flew the EMB-145. Same difference. Every Embraer product is a POS in my opinion. This is coming from a guy that has flown both the EMB-120, EMB-135 and EMB-145. They all suck!!
ERJ-140 said:You are welcome to your opinion. As ststed, you only flew the 145. I don't see you as an expert on the Legacy with -those- credentials.
Having seen the 170 now...wow. The 120 isn't even close to the 145. The Legacy is better still and the 170 is light years ahead of either. Embraer is a good learner.
You can't live in a jungle where ants can devour a family of four in thirty seconds and be weak for cryin' out loud. They know how to make a tough product.
So Bob, I'm glad to see you made it into TEB this morning. You do a lot of those redeyes?ERJ-140 said:*pin drop*

2) Everyone is trying to get on at Southwest, so were I trying or going to try that doesn't mean much.
No huge revelation contained there.
I admire Southwest but would have to take a paycut to go there. I'm not prepared to do so any time soon.
*pin drop*
Probably because after he was "Wrongfully Terminated" he went out and bought his 737 Type with hopes that SWA would call... And then he shoulda woke up...Dangerkitty said:Why do you have B-737 time? Are you typed?
ERJ-140 said:1) I am not trying to get on at Southwest. They have never even heard from me.
What "address" are you talking about??? Who mentioned an address???ERJ-140 said:That address isn't mine. I borrowed it from a friend who avoids this place like the plague.
Just like you're typed in the DA50, so tell me what is Vmo on the 73', what about ZFW on the 50? You've been asked these basic questions before and still haven't answered themERJ-140 said:Typed by my employer. They type everyone. I barely ever fly it.
Unlike Falcon, I don't have access to ISP numbers, but you're "friend's" address is in TEB?ERJ-140 said:(Not in TEB btw, so not sure on that reference.)

That same WSCoD is has just departed TEB for PHX, anybody want to bet we don't hear anything from our friend ERJ-140 for the next 5 or so hours?O-Line said:No, I just find it curious that of the 18 registered WSCoD, 2 were in Vegas last night. One was a Flight Options bird, the other captained by "a dead ringer for Gordon Liddy". Would someone that looks like Gordon Liddy, have used a screen name Skull-One?
I do know this however, ERJ-140's last post last night was at 0415z (2115L), a WSCoD departed LAS at 0430z (2130L) for TEB, about a 5 hour flight. At 1045z (6 1/2 later) ERJ-140 made one last post, and then didn't post anything for about 10 hours zzzz.![]()

SwiftAir Flight 730, looks like it's last flight was KLAS-KTEB and now it is going KTEB-KPHX... This co-incides with our little posting buddy...O-Line said:800 complete wastes of time. Though it has been enjoyable.
Looks like ERJ-140 is cruising along over Indianapolis right now. I'm surprised he's doing 428kts over the ground, I didn't think WSCoD were that fast, must be at least .75M, though he's at FL380. I guess he's doesn't have the FL410 chip
.
If you want to waste more time go to http://www.flytecomm.com/cgi-bin/trackflight or any other flight tracker and enter PHX as arrival airport and TEB as departure.
Falcon Capt said:I wonder if he has to rock back and forth in his seat saying "I THINK I can, I THINK I can" to get the WSCofD above FL350???
OH, I thought he did THAT during take-off as he is sucking up nearly 6,000 ft of runway!!!jknight8907 said:Actually I've heard it works better to run up and down the cabin flapping your arms and making 'vroom' noises...
ERJ-140 said:Well I sure won't get those numbers out of a G100. You're lucky those APUs you have for engines even start!
45 minutes left, still at FL380, 394kts across the ground with the winds today I'd say he's doing .74M.LegacyIIDriver said:Any way....... The airplane will do .74M range numbers at .796M. Do it all the time, personally. If you look at it, even the PUBLISHED numbers between .80 range and .74 are a wopping 100-150NM. That's just not that much. Going back and forth across the CONUS we are always doing .795M so quit acting like everyone is running around at 0.74M.
ERJ-140 said:Besides, why should I give you information on who was there? If you want it that badly (dunno why you care), you PM me who *you* are and work for and we'll talk about determining who was where.
If you work for the same company as either airplane (you should know right?) Then I will divulge info.
Not before.
