Lancair IV/P

May I suggest the Glasair line of aircraft. They are rated to +9 G's and their construction is straight-forward. Yes the Lancairs have some sexy curves, but they're only rated to ~4.4 G's and don't offer a tail-wheeled version. In addition, their kit price is less than a Lancair with almost the same performance.
