to be fair to keylime. the march 17, 2000 crash had nothing to do with key lime, just another journalist that does not understand aviation.

Actually, I agree that most journalists don't have a clue, but this article for the most part is true. Having worked there in the past everything said about 90% of it is true.

Like always I urge guys and gals to stay away.

one would hope that wouldn't be required at an airport a guy flys out of 5 or 6 times a week.

speculating based on knowing how key lime is run, a nap would be more beneficial than a progressive taxi.

i haven't heard about a dual flame out. nearly every other conceivable calamity has been seen there.

Yes it did, a metro. The one i know of was a long time ago though.

Really, been at Key Lime for almost six years and can't think of a dual flame out in a metro, any specifics to jog my memory?

Yeah it had something to do with flying in ice and something with the ignitors. From what i remember the company used its self disclosure and the pilot got burned.
